I have been staying in this hotel for over 17 years. The hotel staff are very well trained. They are kind and courtious. Most have worked there for many years. The hotel is in a good location.

Property was amazing as well as all staff member. Safe location also.

I enjoy the food staff in the morning at breakfast. They smile at you upond arrival and are looking to please the client.

Great walking location for museums, shopping, food with several parks with local performers. Staff willing to assist with anything needed. Felt extremely safe.

Hotel did not allow my guest to come into my room. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and have never experienced such a ridiculous policy. The staff was acting more like security guards than guest service representatives. This was a horrible experience. I would note recommend this hotel to anyone who may expect guests during their stay. In fact I condemn any hotels that would have such inconsiderate policies.

Good check in. Very friendly staff. We found the room to be very comforyable and quiet.

The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable! The free breakfast buffet was huge and gave me an opportunity to try many local fruits.

Location is its best feature if you want to stay in downtown San Jose. The hotel is ageing and does not show signals of renovation work. Doesn´t offer suttle serivce to the airport which adds another $50 expense. Restaurants are not out of the ordinary. The view of the Central Valley is breathtaking.

Good location to see the National Theater and Museo de Oro in walking distance away. Walked to a good local restaurant. San Jose is not a very attractive city and this was enough time there.

The staff was amazing and I loved the atmosphere.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. My first experience here was much better than the second. My room this time was not as clean, we had no towels in the bathroom and the sink was barely working. I did enjoy the breakfast buffet and the pool area along with the free wifi.

Close proximity to stores and super mercado for any needs. Great walk-ability to several museums and points of interest. Nice coffee cafes and bakeries for fresh rolls in the morning. Park across the street and the National Park which was just a few blocks away provided great entertainment and quiet places to sit and enjoy the weather.

This hotel was centrally located, walking distance from museums, restaurants and shopping. The concierge was very helpful as were all hotel staff. This was a great choice!

I booked the hotel through Orbiz. I don´t know if this influenced the quality of the room asigned. The staff wasn´t very custurmer oriented. The room was ran down. The blowdryer was kept in a drawer instead of being set on the wal as usual. There was no appropiate place for the toilet paper; it was put on the top of the bathroom cabinet. Not a single bottle of wáter was put as courtesy. Holiday Inn hotels in El Salvador are much better kept.
