Good location and close to everything, but freeway was noisy. While inside the room with AC on, you could hardly hear the freeway. Breakfast was a minimum effort on there part, I went out for breakfast on day two. I thought they had a jacuzzi from the photos, but it was a very small pool. Room was small, but it was clean, comfy and had a refrig and microwave.

It was a very good stay. Definitely would come back again

I've stayed at other Rodeway Inns before. This one is by far the best. My only complaint was the towels. It left a huge amount of lint when used. If you wiped your face with it, your entire face would be covered in little pieces of lint.

I had a great stay. My room was clean and staff was very helpful.

Pros Rooms were nice updated and clean had microwave and a mini fridge and comfortable bed / Cons backside was noisy it backed up to the freeway nothing cheap to eat walkable and no hot tub and non heated pool

This is one of the nicest experiences I've had in sometime from one of the boutique hotels in town. Besides the staff being extremely professional courteous and helpful it made my stay feel warm and fuzzy. I highly recommend this as a go to place for vacationers. I will come back me and my fiancé.

We stayed one night in a king non-smoking room with a mini fridge, microwave, and free wifi. Great location right down the road from the tram to the stadium. There was an odd smell coming from the sink but other than that, it was a nice escape. The bed was pretty comfortable as well.

The price of this hotel is very good for the cleanliness and modernness of the rooms and the free breakfast. It looks a little sketchy on the outside, but inside is very nice and quiet. Good waffles. Close to SDSU and freeway. I think this was my third time staying here.

Modest no-frills hotel - for the price, this hotel was wonderful. The room is a little smaller than I had hoped, but was very clean with comfortable bedding. The breakfast was crowded but sufficed with several choices and good coffee. Pro tip: there are more tables at the pool for eating your meal. :) The staff were kind and handled everything well. The gastro-pub next door was a nice convenience and we enjoyed the nearby Adobe Falls hiking trail. We stayed on the North side of the building and had no issues with noise. We will definitely book this hotel again in the future, and for the price maybe we'll get two rooms so we can stretch out a little bit. :)

This hotel is clean and the price is right. No frills or anything extra special. However, it is updated and most importantly clean. I would recomend this hotel.

Fine for the price. Breakfast was typical and included waffle makers, but the breakfast room was small and crowded which made eating difficult. Freeway noise.

My only concern was all vending machines were always empty. A little noise from neighbors, but very quiet after 10p. I stayed on side away from Interstate, so not a lot of road noise. Good TV, except was not positioned very well for viewing from chair/desk nor one side of bed. Other side of bed was fine. I was in S/D visiting my new grandchild; therefore, did not spend much time in room. All I needed was a place to hang clothes, shower, sleep, and be close to where they lived (just a short/easy 10 mins. away). Good breakfast except for bad coffee. Good value for what I needed. On previous trips, I have stayed at more expensive places that were not as clean nor as close as I needed. Will stay there again.

Our stay was close to SDSU, one exit away. Staff was friendly and helpful, Room was clean, beds comfortable. Only wish there were places to eat within walking distance.

Decent place to spend a night. Clean, comfortable room.

Friendly staff - room was clean. Good location - close to freeway. Breakfast was good, although dining area was small. Good base for a long weekend getaway in San Diego. Overall good value for the price.

TVs are off center and can't be adjusted. So you can't see it well

The hotel was good. It's your basic hotel with decent cleanliness and all the amenities me and my girlfriend needed. Although we requested a non-smoking room, they only had a smoking room available. The room smelled okay. We just needed a place to rest anyway for our busy valentines weekend. Complimentary breakfast was good. It was a relaxing stay. The big plus about this place was that I left my really nice shoes there and I didn't notice it for a week. I gave them a call, described the shoes, and they said they still have it. I went there to pick it up with no hassle. Shoes were in the same condition as I left it. I was very happy with the overall experience.

This place is quite nice. Rooms were veryclean and recently renovated. I cannot see why it is rated at one star because it is just as good or better than some three star places I have stayed. Staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was included--not fancy, but decent (and an unexpected bonus for the price). The only thing is you will need earplugs because rooms face the parking, but this is common in many hotels/motels. Has a pool, but no gym.

My family and I had a very good experience here. The room was clean and comfortable. Mike at reception is great and very friendly. The cleaning staff id also very friendly and get you what you need right away. Breakfast was pretty good... And no, its not just Danish pastries.and coffee... There's several options... I was definitely satisfied with everything.. I will definitely come to stay here next time. The only thing that wad not too gray wad that the room is a bit small but still a very good deal.

it was ok. Room was really cold and their bed was very uncomfortable.

Thank you Clyde for your feedback. I apologize for the noise on the backside of the hotel on the freeway side. The front desk staff are always willing to move our guest to a room on the street side if noise is a problem. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and hope to see you again soon.
