We stayed in six hotels in Mexico. This was definitely the best. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine. The room was huge. Shower room and bedroom were both beautifully decorated. Staff very helpful. A lovely breakfast and two delicious dinners. The town is interesting and we felt safe.
After a full day of traveling, we checked in weary and tired. Our hosts who were locals booked this hotel for us. I assumed it would be a nice, clean hotel but I never expected this property to be 5 star. I only regret that we stayed one night. I was in Mexico for a week and stayed in 4 different places. This was by far my favorite - even better than the Marriott in Tuxtla. I highly recommend Casa del Alma!
After 7 hours… we went from Palenque by car (5 hours drive with topes down the road and a stop for 2 hours to visit the arheological site Tonina, near to Ocosingo (10 km), what is spectacular), we arrived at Casa del Alma Hotel Boutique for 3 nights. Luxury, comfort and first class service - the best characterization for this hotel! The hotel combines a traditional Mexican feeling (I Love their temática of rooms) with very nice and comfortable rooms and overall facilitie. Desayuno (breakfast) is delicious with a magnificient presentation, and coffee is great! The restaurant offers Mexican gourmet cuisine in an elegant and colonial location. The staff are very helpful and nice and anything you ask they are there to help. The location is very central and easy walking distance to most everything. I love San Cristobal and when I return in the city I will stay at the same lovely hotel!
First time visiting San Christobal and very fortunate to have a friend make the reservation for us. A beautiful mixture of ancient beauty and modern amenities. Super comfortable room with great shower! Excellent restaurant street side. First class!!
Just had a few days in Chiapas, cab from Tuxtla airport to hotel, impressed from the get go!. Lovely space, friendly staff, welcome beverage at check in. Our rooms were spacious, lovely bedding, modern shower (lots of pressure and hot water), and free internet with streaming speed (rare). No in room coffee, but better yet, steaming pot delivered within minutes. We had plans to explore local restaurants but kept coming back to the in-house Secreto: Meals & service were excellent and inventive.
From the moment we stepped into the hotel it was a heart warming surprise. The receptionist was polite and helpful. Each room has a small balcony that allows fresh air and sunshine to enter the room. The bathroom has a divided shower and toilet room. The main floor has a seating area with a gas fireplace that you can sit around while enjoying cocktails. The restaurant was fabulous! Laundry service was great. I love clean and this place was very clean. What a lovely time. Easy walking distance around the entire old town.
We stayed here for two nights and had a good sized suite on the second floor with a lovely big bathroom - everywhere was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. A very central hotel which we would recommend. Only had breakfast in the hotel which was OK but nothing fantastic and cannot comment on dinner as we didn't eat there
Beautiful hotel. Thanks to Casa del Alma for the EXCELLENT service. The people that works ther are so nice. The best part was our room, super clean, comfy beds, everting was perfect. Can’t wait for our next visit. See u soon;)
Everything is wonderful here. The rooms are spacious and warm. There’s a nice spa and the food is great. Can’t go wrong here. It’s really close to shops and restaurants. From here to can walk pretty much everywhere. There’s only one suite with a bathtub if that’s important to you.
Larger than usual rooms (much larger) with a nice and clean private bathroom. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean also. Lovely restaurant downstairs which is of high quality, but pricy. Hotel has a modern vibe and feel to it. We had a nice private balcony which was refreshing, but no view. Central location just outside the busy square - quiet but close to action. Breakfast served daily and servers amazingly attentive. Would definitely stay again.
