This was a last minute reservation as the Vrbo property I rented cancelled upon my arrival & we needed a quick 1-night stay to get our situation resolved. The staff was helpful in getting checked in within an hour of reservation. This is more of a Vrbo type rental than a hotels.com traditional hotel room. The house is old, while it seemed moderately clean, the age and disrepair could use some tending to. There was a vent panel falling off a wall. There were several empty beer cans in the front yard. Checking in late, there was no lighting to illuminate the address. It's on a main street, so we ended up driving by it twice while trying not to slow down so much that we were impeding traffic. It's an awkward set-up. The master bedroom w/ king bed was right at the entry of the house & did not have an ensuite bathroom. The room that did have an ensuite bathroom was set up with a bunk bed system. The kitchen is offset w/ a lip a couple inches higher than the living room. Not tall enough to be a step which made it a trip hazard. They did try and highlight it with a safety marker, but it didn't stop everyone in my family from stumbling on it at least once during our stay. The most awkward thing is apparently the house had another rental property in the rear. We had parked our vehicles in the driveway and was awakened a little after 11pm by other guests banging on the front door asking us to move our cars so they could get access to the rear property.
