The lady at the front desk was unfriendly and not helpful when it came to answering questions. The overall appearance and condition of the building is shoddy and Third World-looking. It seemed that they squeaked by with the most meager of offerings. Tiny bars of soap as thin as a vanilla wafer. No water in the room in the refrigerator. No way to get water or ice. And they charge for parking on top of the room rate.

Nice! Too big and to far from the sights

We were left with no hot water for two days we had to take cold showers when we complained they told us they didn’t have any hot water either, but we are paying guests.

We did not stay at this location because when we got their there was know body their at the front desk..sign said be back in 30 min.

Location is good but not worth it. With deposit and parking fees no breakfast just book a few dollars extra for a star.

Room was stained on carpet chairs smelled like mildew

It was not too far from the city and the owners were very friendly. I would stay there again in the future.

Walked into room building and surprised how dated it was. Went up to room and it has old furniture was mixed matched, linens seemed clean but we did not sleep under them. Towels were yellow. And we saw roaches in room. Did not stay but paid for 2nd night.

The surrounding neighborhood is very hip. The hotel is walking distance to the riverwalk and Alamo. I frequent non-chain hotels so I know a bad one when I stay there. This place is convenient, cheap, pedestrian friendly, quiet, and overall not as bad as others have reviewed it.

We had to take Amtrak train at 1:15am, need a place to stay for the afternoon and evening, were not spending the night, so we wanted a place close to train station and cheap, This was it!!!

good location budget stay
