Sinus issues from poor air quality the WORST DUMP I EVER STAYED IN!!! Hideous rooms.. Burn holes in the ceiling everything reeks of cigarettes exposed wires. Cigarette burn holes everywhere including the comforter and bedsheets...embarrassing that my boyfriend booked this place for 4 nights!!!!!
The doubles weren't big enough but that was my fault thinking they were queens. Friendly desk clerks. Kids loved the pool! And a great Mexican restaurant next door. A few gas stations in walking distance.
Worst hotel I've ever stayed at! Front desk was nice. Super overpriced. I killed 3 'roaches that where ON the bed. Definitively not coming back. Saw kids wandering around alone at 2:30am. The exact definition of sketchy...
I am always wary about hotels that are within a close proximity to a truck-stop and this one didn't disappoint. I've stayed in some really crappy hotels and this is one of the worst that I've been in. This one is right across the street from the Petro Travel Center. There is a Mexican food truck and a small Mexican cafe within walking distance. Avoid the Mexican food truck if you honor your bowels. First off, it doesn't matter if you ask for a non-smoking or a smoking room, they will both smell the same. This room reeked of old stale cigarette smoke and dirty feet. The carpets were filthy, the tile in the bathroom needed a good scrubbing and furniture was old, outdated and needed a restoration. The sheets on our bed kept coming off during the night and there were odd stains on the walls near the beds. It looked like some kind of carbonated drink spill. The A/C kept the room pretty cool but there was a cheap table and stools in the way that blocked the airflow. Our door was extremely hard to open and when closed, the lock was falling off. When we called to ask for two extra pillows, an attendant brought us one. The "breakfast" was non-existent and so was the service. I'd absolutely not recommend. and I won't be coming back. I don't care how cheap the room is. Beware of the people who hang around this truck-stop.
OK, we had so many issues at this motel. First off the rooms are very outdated, beds are old dirty and very uncomfortable! There is never any hot water, to top it off the manager "octa" would call and complain to customers to not take long showers because not enough hot water for motel. He also would listen to people showering to see how long you had water running. There is no internet connection Ever!! The carpet is filthy. The tubs are covered in mold. The rooms are dirty and has a horrible stinch. The manager complains about everything when his customers should be the one complaining. I don't think the guy ever sleeps because he wonders around the motel at all hours going in and out of rooms??? He was a very odd man!! Also its not a safe place to stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
When we first walked in our room the room had a very bad smell we all couldn't stand ..I had to spray perfume. The covers had holes in them & carpet looks unclean and filted. The sink had mold & the restroom floor too ..No hot water at all!!!!! After all a Horrible/ Terrible stay!!!
This was the absolute worst hotel I have EVER stayed in! The rooms are in a very bad part of town. Rooms themselves are extremely rundown and in need of a health code inspection. The bathroom of our room was covered in mold! Yes MOLD! When we turned off the lights it looked like a crime scene from a forensic science video. The room is tagged with glow in the dark green spray paint EVERYWHERE. Walls, bathroom, over the mirrors...it is frightening to see and even more so for my two young daughters. Even though our room had 2 beds, my entire family laid in one bed together. Sleep never crossed our minds because of the shady activity of some individuals by where we parked our car and outside our bedroom window. In the morning, we saw the shore floor was completely black---like it has never seen bleach in its entire existence. There was mold on the shower curtain. NO HOT WATER in tub or sink. The fridge, tv and microwave were useless as there was no power to them. The manager was called to the room and he was upset that we were complaining. He did not want to compensate us at all for our horrible stay. I called into the 800 number found online and did send pictures of all the details in the room. As we were getting ready to leave the manager shows up to hand a $20 bill over. He said "I don't think it's fair to us to have to refund you so not all your money is back". I did happen to get this conversation on video with my phone and I have sent it to the email provided to me from the 800 line conversation. For the health of other guests, please ask to inspect your room before booking it. Look for MOLD! The manager was not interested in fixing the problem! Maybe his higher management will take interest since I sent pics and video of the room and the managers attitude toward fixing problems.
there is not much good i can say about this place. price is too high for what we got. the room was not that clean, it smelled. the curtains were hanging off the rod and we had to hang them back up. very disorganized. the bed was as had as a rock. no cups for drinking. things just looked way too old and worn out. the only thing that was good was the air conditioner worked.also had to wait for the desk clerk to come back from taking someone to the store.
Our room was clean, with a king bed and reasonably priced, for the area. The building was secure after 10 pm with entry by key only, despite a somewhat "seedy" looking neighborhood. The parking area only accommodates 10 vehicles, despite the fact there are 19 rooms. If the lot was full and you had to park on the street behind the hotel, I can see there could be a problem. All the major hotels charged a lot more that were near downtown. It was within walking distance of downtown, which was a plus, as parking was expensive. The "continental breakfast" was basically non-existent. There was a small table in front of the check-in area that had a few pieces of fruit, coffee, and some one-bite muffins.
This is the second time we have stayed at this location. We will not be staying again. The first time was so so, and over priced, this time we had a different room and it was nothing like the first room we stayed in at this location. One nights stay was over $70 for room 112 which had a roach on the shower curtain, carpets that were stained and dirty around the doors and walls as if they had not been properly cleaned in years. The bathtub shower unit looks as if it's had holes in it in the tub potion as well as the basin area and someone patched it with some spakle or something. For $70+ a night I'm not expecting a 3+ star stay but seriously this place is along the lines of a $30 stay not a $70 stay.
