Everything was well in order. I like that the check-out time was noon.

I've stayed here one other time just a couple months ago, that was the reason for my return stay. First visit was pleasant other than the fact the pool and breakfast facilities are shut down due to covid-19. This most recent stay was not great..nor good..nor mediocre. It was a hot day in SLC and we immediately turned on the ac in the room. We had left to eat and upon arriving back the room was still uncomfortably warm. We waited an hour or two before going to see if there was possibly another room we could get moved to. The gentleman at the front desk asked to come check our room. He told us that it was working and pretty much blew us off.The reason for our trip was because my daughter was having surgery the next day. A couple more hours went by and the room was still hot even though the AC was set at 60°. By this time of night 9pm...it was too much of a hassle to try and move rooms..not even knowing if the front desk would have accommodated. We slept with no covers as it was entirely too hot and uncomfortable. Next total disappointment was the fact that there were many drug interactions going on in the parking lot, sketchy people all over. Sketchy peoples children were riding bikes inside the hotel.. down the halls. For a moment I wondered if we were in the shining! Room was pretty clean, mattress comfort was poor, water pressure was sad. I thought we found a good thing the first time around but obviously not.

The unsecured email was a disappointment. Liked having coffee/tea available in lobby.

We had a king room. When we walked in there was no microwave or refrigerator. This was a disappointment. When I questioned the front desk about it, the phone rang and she answered it even though I was standing in front of her. Then she answered a second call. I walked back to my room. She called my room after some time, apologized and said the king room does not have a fridge or microwave. She could have them delivered though. I said no thanks. At least she offered but I thought they were standard in all Hampon Inn rooms. It's part of the reason we like staying at Hampton Inn.

It was clean and nice, but you could tell in the bathroom that it had some water damage by the floor. It advertised to have a fridge but didn't.

Proximity to food and services is great. Free breakfast for 4 hours is good too.

Room was comfortable, but hot breakfast not so good.

Internet issues at first blue.com to login if no pop up window comes up. The room was great, but the bathroom had clearly flooded at some point and repairs were shoddy at best. Very clean. Really comfortable beds.
