The vast majority of the staff were super friendly and professional. However one man at the front desk was rude and tried to charge us $25 to get into our room 45 mins early, even though we were texted that it was ready and keys were all set. He had us wait with two kids, including a nursing infant, just for the sake of waiting. Luckily hus colleague helped us out.

This is the first time that i have had a bad experience here. It was bad check in, the pedicures were done in office chairs. I mean they could have moved the pedicue chairs to the temp room. The tv weren't working. Couldn't order a movie. The first room we had, had water damage and the TV wouldn't work. Moved to a new room and still would not work. Many customers had the issue. And no inconvenience credit or voucher was offered. Then tried to order room service and you couldn't get bread. No bread allowed. What us that?! It was just disappointing and brutal from start to finish.

Activities Dept needs better service.

I really liked the amenities & staff. Our car battery died upon checkout & they let us stay extended time until it was repaired. That's customer service!

Was nice

All staff I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy, room was quiet, food at restaurants and room service were better than average. The outdoor pools were in good condition. My one complaint might be that they serve drinks in their restaurants out of disposable plastic cups of you sit outside, which felt out of step with the overall classiness of the joint.

I am writing this because I was charged a 50 dollar charge because I didnt return two Plastic Beach passes. No one told me they wanted them back and I assumed with Covid the hotel wouldnt want them back I love the abbey ..but that kind of behavior has changed my mind. Hotel is

Stayed at The Abbey in lovely Fontana. Had a very nice and relaxing time.

Bad experience overall. Restaurants are empty but require reservations 30-40min in advance due to lack of personal. Sticky tables. Boring environment, there was nothing to do during evening time, everything is closed.

Loved how private the rooms felt. Beautiful area with stunning views

The view of the harbor from our room was great! The kong size bed was very comfortable , however it would of been nice to have a top cover for the bed.
