Overall our stay was nice. We liked that the rooms have patio doors. This made it feel like there was an accessible outdoor option and kept us from feeling confined. The hot tub was not very hot. More like bath water warm. So that was disappointing. The s’mores on the patio was a nice, free option. We sat by the fire and took a moment to enjoy the fire.

Kudos to your front desk person, Eric! We drive an electric vehicle and were planning on charging it upon our arrival. When we discovered the charger on the property was out of service, Eric came up with an easy solution for us allowing us to plug into an outdoor outlet on the property. Thank you, Eric! Overall it was a nice stay. However we were really disappointed that the spa is not included in the resort stay. I understand that the services wouldn’t be included but to charge $30-$40 per person per day even if they are a guest at the resort I would have thought they would include it. The room itself was very nice, resort reminded us of Dirty Dancing as the resort in the movie lol

This time it was too crowded
We always enjoy our stay at the Abbey Resort. We decided to use the special rate that was offered. Unfortunately, it must have been spring break week and it was really crowded. We always purchase the Avani Spa pass but couldn't even get into the jacuzzi because it was always full of people and even the pool area was loud/busy. We will definitely return as it is one of our favorite places, however, not during spring break.
