It’s so nice to stay in a reasonably priced hotel that is so well kept up and rooms that are roomy, spotless and well decorated
I was just looking for a place to stay overnight as I was traveling through. I read the reviews on Orbitz talking about how surprisingly nice this place is for a Super 8, and what a great value it was for the price. I decided to give it a try and also pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean, staff friendly and efficient, the bed was very nice with lots of great pillows. It was very quiet, but I was only there from about 10 PM until 6:30 AM. If I need a place to stop again in Salina Kansas, it will definitely be here.
Property was clean and well kept. Room was good, breakfast excellent. No problems. Staying there again n cat week on our return trip

Salina, Kansas was a pleasant stopover for us on our way back home from a cross country trip.
My wife had to wipe down the bath walls. They had been touched for quite a while. The breakfast area was clean, but the food offering was on the slim side. The waffles were ok.
It's my first time staying at Super 8, very surprised how comfortable the stayed was in Salina Kansas especially coming from So. Cal. The room was great for our 5 nights with breakfast before 9am especially for the price. Cute swing in the front of the place, great to hang out or pics. Only thing I didn't like was the old smell when entering the hall way or stairs and no safe to put my personal belonging. It was convenient for my brother and I because it was close to everything especially for his boys school and their home. It's the main reason why my brother chose this place. Suppose to stay at Best Western Inn & Suites or La Quinta Suites and Inn, this was the best last min decision lol I only gave three stars because I'm use to staying at the Venetian, Encore, Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, Westin or any 4 and 5 stars hotel. Also, because I had the best experience with my nephews so it didn't matter we stayed ;)=
We pulled in late at night and everything was great for a one night stay. Lobby Staff helpful. All areas of hotel that we saw were clean. We would definitely stay again when traveling from Denver to oklahoma
When my husband and I arrived around midnight after a long day of travel, we found the sheets and pillowcases in our room to be covered with a red substance. Not sure what it was, but resembled blood. The sheets also had hair in them. We were moved to another room where the same red substance was on all 4 pillowcases and the wall. Our heating unit even had a half eaten peanut butter cracker in it. The staff was friendly enough, but did not seem overly concerned about the situation. The hotel was gross- would never stay here again.
A little tired but fine for a layover. Pretty clean rooms, old bathroom grout, old bedding but pretty comfortable small pool bad free breakfast.
Staff was not very friendly. Hotel was ok. Beds were not very comfortable. Pool was foggy and room pool was in was very hot. Staff could have been more helpful. Breakfast was minimal.
Great value -- the breakfast was very basic, and there was no morning paper, but the room and facilities were what we'd expect from a place costing twice as much.
I stop here twice a year and it never let's me down. Very clean and spacious, mostly clean grass to walk dogs in, quiet, safe, and friendly staff. Always plan to stay here over the thanksgiving holiday. Heck, they had throw pillows every time I've stayed here until this time, not that I mind they weren't there this time. This is one upscale super 8!
I chose this room based on good reviews and price. The room was clean and spacious. Our room had a larger than normal flat screen TV mounted on the wall, which was nice. We didn't use the pool but it looked pretty small. The breakfast was VERY basic (toast, cinnamon bun, waffles, and cereal, that's it!).
This was by far the best 2 star hotel that I have ever visited. I will recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Salina. Access to the interstate is perfect. There are plenty of eating places very close. Each staff member was very friendly.
