Fabulous house! Plenty of room inside and out and very well equipped. Furnishings and beds were very comfortable and plenty of room for our large family. Very unique and gorgeous house.

We were on a Great property, we understand this is a historical property. They have a lot of nice things, like paintings, pianos, etc. We recommend this. I think just they have to upgrade the HEATED SYSTEM, some times during the night is not working 100%

The host was responsive and helpful. It was nice that they were not intrusive and did not send continuous reminders which allowed me to relax and enjoy my stay. The house is spacious with plenty of amenities. Quite and peaceful. I wish there was something that gave a little history on the house. Maybe there is something and I just missed it. I am curious to know...

The location of this property is ideal and very serene and peaceful. We loved hearing the birds and getting to see so many colorful varieties.The deck space is great, overlooking the pond and yard offering that country feel although you are only a few minutes from the city. The drive in to Salem was perfect. We loved being so close but also having this house to escape to.The space in the home is very large, lots of spaces to gather and visit. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need.The home has 3 full bathrooms which is great but the location of 2 of them is a little odd. We made it work though. Two of the bathrooms are in the Master Suite.The hosts were very responsive. We will definitely come again!

The fact there's no cell service was disappointing. The big TV in the loft, the only place for family viewing, has no service, and it's not a smart TV, so you can't open your own streaming. The faucet handles are not attached in the kitchen, they fall off.Probably the most unfortunate thing is the house is under a rental agency who also rents through Vrbo. You are sent multiple texts making sure you leave a perfect review. Over and over.I had one confrontation where i asked about the 10am checkout. The rep tried to condescendingly school me that the universal checkout time is 10am for rentals and hotels. Not sure what he was smoking, but i have traveled the world, and that's not true.The house is big. We had lots of room for entertaining our guests. Full kitchen with commercial refrigerator. Laundry room for your use. The master suute bed was too firm for my comfort, but i have disabilities, so it could be just me.Pretty sure there's someone sleeping in the lower level. We had no interaction, though.

Fabulous property with deck & views out over the pond.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday weekend on this farmland property. The deck is fabulous, overlooking the pond and the garden in bloom -- a bird watcher's paradise. It is quiet and secluded in nature. We spent all our time outdoors on the deck. Weather was wonderful and the setting just perfect.The house is one-of-a-kind. It is a converted barn, with high ceilings and an eclectic collection of antique furniture, paintings, old photographs, and other items adorning the walls, including taxidermy. The kitchen is great - large, well organized, with an institutional size frig/freezer and outstanding double oven and range; well stocked with dishes, etc. They made us feel very welcome upon arrival.As it was a brand new listing, there were several issues to sort out for the sink and shower in the shared bathroom and for the hot tub, as well as other details. The management was very responsive and friendly. As it was a holiday weekend, we chose to let them take care of everything after our departure, which they confirmed. The master bath has two sides, one with huge walk in shower and the other with a vintage copper tub. We are confident that they handled everything afterwards, based on their excellent communications.
