Room was shabby,bathroom door would not close with kicking it.The fan in bathroom didnt work.We ordered jacket pototoe for evening meal sent them both back twice as they were uncooked,we had waited over a an hour to get our meal.The staff were run off there feet,but they did do their best.

You had a problem with your internet and your staff had no idea how to cope with it we waited 1 hour for food then they had lot our order the system of writing orders on small bits of paper and then not knowing what we ordered and the bar staff minute could take cash them wrote that on bits of paper.said you should get people to sign of they could refuse to pay cold water went off heater didn’t work in the room. The sad thing is we come up twice a year and have done for a few years now and we recommend it hopefully next time will be better

The breakfast was very good and well stocked. It was good to be able to eat at the hotel and not have to stop when we got on the road. The staff was very friendly and accommodating in every aspect.

Room was not particuallry clean, towels were dirty. Tried to call reception (just out of shower) but it was after 9pm and no one would answer. Stains on the bedroom carpet. QR code on welcome letter didnt work. Hotel in desperate need of TLC. Would not choose to stay again.

First of all, the staff I encountered were excellent and my evening meal was great. The room was not so good. Only one power socket working, so no TV. No heating. Room and bathroom were tiny. Bathroom not as clean as it could be, signs of mould and the room smelled damp (possibly due to faulty air con?)

This hotel Is excellent. All the staff - reception, restaurant, bar and room servicing are brilliant, friendly and always go that extra mile for you. Breakfast is excellent and the most varied we have encountered. The lunch and evening meal menus are very good too.

Great stay

Generally great stay. Dog friendly and didnt get charged for the dog. The bed was a bit small but comfy. We had everything we needed in our room, and staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast and food in the restaurant was nice, and bonus points for "children eat for free".
