We stayed one night in an executive suite Absolutely beautiful Spotlessly clean Massive bathroom with separate shower plenty of towels and toiletries if you need more just ask Staff were amazing We had access to the executive lounge where you will find plenty of drinks and nibbles available with an awesome view Carnt praise this super hotel enough Right opposite central station so plenty of shops bars and restaurants We will be back Thank you for the hospitality
This hotel is conveniently located across from the rail station. Though the rooms are run of the mill, a bit dated and could use an extra scrubbing, the service is excellent - from every single person we encountered including front desk, room service, restaurants and house keeping. My suggestion to corporate Marriott would be to invest in the structure of the building so it is as good as the people who work there.
The Marriott Rotterdam hotel is just in front of Rotterdam Central Station and above 'Plaza-parking' so the location is perfect. From the parking garage you can take the elevator to the lobby. Check-in was done in minutes. There is quite a lot of staff active (very positive) and they were all very friendly. The room was in excellent condition and my Superior Room had a separate shower from the bath which is also very positive. I requested a room with Central Station view but it was unavailable. (I booked the room one night in advance so I understand.) Breakfast was good, but nothing compared to Sofitel's Magnifique breakfast. I ordered poached eggs but they were very sour because they probably used too much vinegar which is not necessary if you know how to do it right. Plus they presented the eggs without toast or herbs so the presentation could be better. I liked the fact that you could order Illy coffee and they also had an Illy-machine to do it yourself. Good quality tea's were also available. Would I stay here again? Yes, without a doubt.
Centrally located (right in front of Rotterdam Centraal, just a stone throw away), which is why I chose this hotel. Good ambiance, open volume reception foyer with very welcoming staff. Room was clean, spacious with contemporay modern design. Little thing like a welcoming card signed by cleaning staff whom is responsible for the room, just add that cherry on top!
Hotel is just in heart of city. Room is very clean, spacious and well maintained. Bathroom is clean and provided with tub as well as separate jacuzzi. Nice view of city from room. Rate is reasonable. Good and variety of breakfast
Business trip - perfect hotel! Best location just by the central station. good service, nice rooms, good wine and cheese and breakfast was ok. Garage under neath. price was ok! I'll be back next time I'm in town.
Great location. Newly decorated, bright, modern rooms. Very helpful staff. Really enjoyed the outgoing, pro actively way the staff treats the guests. Particularly at breakfast and at the front desk. Charlotte from the reception also made some very good suggestion for our evening plans. All that with with a big smile!
I have organized a big sales meeting in Marriott Rotterdam and I must say it was the best choice! The service we received was outstanding and made us feel like we received full attention. The bedrooms are newly renovated and have a nice view, so do the smaller meeting rooms. Location in front of the central station made the commute much easier. I highly recommend this hotel to either business or private guests. Special regards to Mieke, the manager who deserves our special Thank You.
I was looking forward to stay in the Rotterdam Marriott Hotel. I was a regular guest in the Manhattan Hotel and wanted to see the changes. The room was nice and the bed was fantastic! No complaints so far. At the check-in I had to present my Credit Card, the room was pre-paid so I checked with the person at the check-in desk how much was going to be reserved. Nothing was the answer. At home I saw a reservation of 100 euro. After 5 working days I called the hotel to find out how long the reservation was going to be before it was removed. The answer was I don't know, I think 5 days. After 10 days I called the hotel again and the answer was "normally it is 5 days". When I told the lady that a co-worker had told me 5 days, she replied: it is 10 days. When I told the lady it has been over 10 days and perhaps she could explain to me why it was still reserved, she told me that she will have the evening shift remove the reservation as an emergency. However, it has been 18 days and the reservation is still charged to my credit card. Could someone explain to me why? Thank you
We stayed here for 1 evening. Everything from the checkin moment went smoothly. Greeted with a friendly smile and asked how everything was and how our trip was. Our room was even available at 10:30 when we arrived, so we could place our bags in the room before embarking on our city trip tour. The hotel is directly across the central station, so by train is most convenient as parking at the nearby parking area us quite expensive. Had a nice coffee at the bar and enjoyed a rotterdam beer later in the evening. Staff are down to earth and friendly. As for our room on the 8th floor, we had a great view, spacious room and state of the art TV - we could cast everything I wanted to see from my mobile. Bathroom was also nice with a bath and shower. Breakfast - FANTASTIC - I love eggs benedict, and some pancakes. Breakfast room clean and has a sophisticated feel about it. Also again the service and staff are friendly and good. Overall great stay, and coming back to Rotterdam soon again
