Located right across from the Centraal station. Tram and metro service are just at your doorsteps. Quite pleasant to walk around as that's the best way to really experience the city or you can cycle. There are a row of restaurants and cafes just 2 blocks behind the hotel which is only 10 minutes walk away. Walking distance around 30 minutes to the waterbus that goes to Kinderdijk, Markthal and cubic houses. Staff Azzedine, Kevin and Iive were very helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel, which meets Marriott's high standards. Service was attentive. Centrally located. Directly across the street from the Central station. Stayed here during the North Sea Jazz festival. They had live jazz in lobby each evening. Only drawback is there are no AC units, just fans. A warning if there in summer. Would definitely return here.

My Wife and I had a four night 'city beak' in the hotel following a cruise. Its location couldn't be better, it is right opposite the central train station, so is in a prime location for access to the city centre and the excellent Dutch public transport system. Despite the fact that we arrived at the ridiculously early time of 9am, after our cruise, a very helpful young lady checked us into an upgraded executive room on the ninth floor. She also gave us a tourist map and recommended a few places to visit and to eat. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a large bath and a shower. It also had a very comfortable bed and gave us a great view over the city. If there is a negative to the hotel, it is that the Executive Lounge is currently closed due to it being refurbished, and the temporary lounge is in a room on the tenth floor and isn't really fit for purpose. It is too hot, the drinks selection is limited - the coffee machine never seemed to work, the food selection was almost the same each evening and a member of staff only visits occasionally to clean up. I am sure this is only a temporary glitch and that the new M Lounge will be better when it opens. We had breakfast in the restaurant each morning and the staff there were very good. There is the usual Marriott buffet fare, with a chef who will cook hot items to order for you. All in all an excellent hotel, and Rotterdam is a great place for a city break - they seem to have spent millions making the tourist areas welcoming, clean and attractive. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly, which always makes a big difference in a large hotel. Would definitely stay here again when we next visit Rotterdam.

Location is just a stone-throw away from the train station. Super attitude from staff from the beginning to the end; they made a great effort. I was upgraded to an executive floor room on the merit of a long expired loyalty club card. Nicely designed rooms too.

We have spent one night in this hotel it was on a great location with a great view. The only thing that bothered me was the staff when I arrived at the hotel and checked in he said that I haven't paid yet while I did online with iDeal already, after looking up my email to show him my reservation he finnaly solved it after 10 minutes. I also already payed for the late-checkout on 14:00 while he said I didn't pay for the late checkout.. After talking to him for 5 minutes he agreed to give me the late checkout.. This is a great hotel only the service was really poor for me won't sleep here again.

We have spent two nights in Deluxe Room - which was newly redone, as well as the bathroom. Lovely towels and complimentary amenities. The only issue seemed to be the rather old AC, but it did work properly, just seemed to be more noisy than modern ones do. The staff at the reception was very professional and accomodating, the same with staff in the breakfast room. The beakfast room has gorgeous view of the Central Station, definitely something to check out. Breakfast buffet was very nice as well. Overall, a very nice hotel conveniently located close to the central train Station, within easy walking distance to the city centre.

Loved the hotel big Rooms amazing service and staff, loved the staff treated us so well and where really nice, the food is amazing and service, rooms are big & the hotel is very secure, wish they had a swimming pool would have made it perfect and wish I got a room with a nice view because the hotel has some amazing views

Stayed only one night and drove directly to the hotel, a little hard to find the way around the one system, but was ok. A very good Marriott hotel, with friendly staff and a good room (this time). Only had a snack and drink in the bar, but all very good.

Was booked at Rotterdam Marriott by the business associates who we were meeting. The prices charged were atrocious probably because Rotterdam was very full on the dates that we were there. The whole city had a festive look and people all around were celebrating the title win of Rotterdam's football club after many years. The hotel is very centrally located just opposite the Central Station, where a lot of tram lines also terminated. The area has many restaurants around and there is quite a few shops in the vicinity. The hotel was clean and up to the usual Marriott standards. The breakfast was nice and had many kinds of cheeses, of course you were in Netherlands. The check in was brisk as was the checkout. Overall the stay was nice but it was not the best value considering that I have stayed in other hotels almost as nice but at half the price.

Well located with most staff very courteous. Room air conditioning however is very weak. This despite reminding the front office of this issue after Day-1. The breakfast spread is not bad, the staff at the restaurant were very willing to serve.
