Great base, great hotel, fantastic reception staff willing to help local knowledge great, rooms were clean perfect size. If I ever return to Rotterdam this is the hotel I will seek out to stay at again
Price for quality was good. The room was a bit too small, with almost no space to move around. Also the bathroom was small and without places to put things on. They don't clean the rooms and if you want the hairdryer you have to pay. You can't open the window and there is only the air conditioning system. During the nights you can hear noises from the street so I had to buy hearplugs. The bed was comfortable, the staff was very polite and friendly. I would suggest it only if you want a room just to sleep, take a quick shower and then go.
We paid a bit extra and got one larger room and one small standard room as we were 3 people. You can also hire a locker to store your bags in if you arrive early unfortunately no luggage room. The rooms are clean and simple with everything you would need! Wi fi works and the location is five star! The beds are comfy and the linen good The staff are friendly kind and always willing to help! I would definitely recommend staying especially if you on a budget.
The hotel is located in the center of the city quite near to the Erasmus bridge. The room was clean even if it’s a bit small. It’s not a first class hotel but for a couple of night and if you are young it’s a good value for the price.
If you've ever flown Easyjet you'll know what you are getting here, a completely no frills budget hotel that does the job. Price out the cost of your stay here then shop around for other hotels in the city centre, I doubt you'll find anything of this standard cheaper. Also, just like their flights prices change with demand so book as early as possible. As for the hotel room itself it was modern, spotlessly clean, comfortable and (yes) very basic (which is how they keep the prices down). A bed, shower, toilet, aircon / heating, a chair and a TV. If you want or need more than that spend more money and go elsewhere, it was all I needed and I was more than happy with it. Reception staff were friendly and efficient, checkin was quick and problem free, some loud music from the next door room was dealt with by simply knocking on their door and asking politely if they could turn it down a bit. Two good nights sleep in a hotel 10 minutes walk from Centraal station meant one happy customer.
If you like a shoebox sized room than this is the place for you, if you like poor sound insulation than again this is an exellent choice. If you like more basic than basic this is your ideal hotel. If you like to be kept awake awake by rowdy neighbours, you hit the jackpot at this hotel.
stayed here last month. was shocked at the room been so small, but I couldnt complain as I didnt book it. It was clean and very basic, but then again it was cheap so I wont be too negative. However I would like to say the reception staff were extremely helpful and very friendly so thank you girls. The shower was good but always leaked into the toilet area so we needed extra towels every day to put on the floor. They were more than happy to accommodate, same as needing a hairdryer. no additional costs. no kettles in the room so make sure you have euros to hand for water from the machine downstairs if you like your cups of tea in the morning. Beds very comfy, excellent air con, tv only a couple of channels in english, but to be fair we were hardly in the room so was a nice central cheap stay. 10 euros via taxi from the train station.
Comfy beds and good location. Would be great if there were more than one hook on the walls to put a jacket on and also some surface space to set cosmetics and hair products on in the bathroom. (It's very hard to do your makeup when there's nowhere to put the makeup on.) Also there was only one outlet next to the beds, which wasn't too great. One of us had to keep their phone on the floor in front of the door to charge. However, we paid a very reasonable price of 50e for a room with two beds.
I was in Rotterdam for 4 days, visiting my son who is studying there. The hotel was just value for money, with it's perfect location and cleanness. One recommendation, beds could be a little bigger. They are tiny for tall people!
