I love this hotel. As a citizen of Amsterdam I visit Rotterdam quite frequently, and I like staying here because of the Spa and the waterfront views. City view can be a bit less than waterfront view. Nice jacuzzi (and sauna) in the bathroom :)

After already being stuck in train delays for four hours from Belgium to Rotterdam, we received all but a warm welcome. We paid in advance for a luxury water front room with private sauna via, expecting a very relaxing Easter weekend. When we arrived, we were told they could not release this type of room without presenting a physical credit card. Unfortunately my credit card got blocked just before while traveling in Kenia so we did not have a physical credit card on us. Refering to the policy and after checking with her manager for an exception, the receptionist had no other option to downgrade the room while we still paid in advance for the more expensive! Their suggestion was to take it up with for reimbursement. The following things made us feel very unwelcome: - no constructive effort from the side of the hotel to solve the problem. - the receptionist is not to blame, she had to refer to the general policy. The manager said no to an exception to pay a deposit in cash or via debit card. - no greeting nor apology of the manager, who did not adress us face to face. - a voucher for a drink in the lobby is not a way to solve the problem. In short, read the fine ink. It's more important than feeling welcome. We will never visit again.

We had wonderful stay at the Mainport Hotel, Rotterdam. The view was amazing. The waterfront sauna room was amazing. Comfortable bed and great coffee. Definitely a stay to remember. Excellent service, perfect location

We had a wonderful weekend at Mainport Hotel, Rotterdam. Our room had panoramic view across the harbour, it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hotel entrance is very tasteful and chic, with friendly multi-lingual staff. Glass elevators take you to your room, showcasing the best of what Rotterdam has to offer. Our room had a jacuzzi and sauna included, a wonderful birthday treat. Room service was quick and efficient; housekeeping tided the room very well each day. Shower and jacuzzi of very high standard. The spa was excellent, with views right across the city. I have come back from my weekend feeling relaxed and rejuvinated. Thank you Mainport hotel!

second visit here. Perfect service (valet for the car) overall. Nice breakfastbuffet. We had a room on the streetside, but thanks to the perfect isolation, had no streetnoice.Rooms are clean with all amenities and good bedding.

Arrived to a sunny but very cold Rotterdam, rang the hotel to check earliest time of check in - receptionist confirmed our room was ready & we were free to check in at any time.. Checked in at 12pm, hotel was warm & welcoming. Our ‘Waterside’ room had been decorated with balloons, an ice bucket, Champagne flutes & chocolates as a surprise for my husband’s birthday (I’d arranged this via email prior to our arrival) - our bed was super comfortable & the pillows were the best I’ve ever slept on! The room & whole hotel was exceptionally clean throughout! We especially enjoyed the sauna in our room & a wonderful, hot, spa bath (with a glass of Champagne to boot) - we loved the TV in the mirror & the views from our windows in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety.. fruit, cereal, bacon, sausages, warm crusty bread & eggs cooked to your liking by the chef right in front of you!.. & why not make it a Champagne breakfast.. complimentary Champagne/Prosecco is available upon request & the waitress is happy to top you up!.. The staff couldn’t be more friendly & helpful. We were really sorry to have to leave. Hope to return here & highly recommend!

We had a deluxe corner room with views of the city and of the Maas River. The room are amazing, with an xcl Whirlpool bath next to a window with View of thd harbor, a bathroom Mirror with built in led TV and large walk in shower. The room and hotel Ard both very modern. The lift are built facing outside so you have a great view day or night. We had breakfast champagne in our room, there is only one chair at the Desk but the window legde is wide enough to sit on but its one of the negatief points of the room. The bed is very large and has a tv at the end built onto a wooden frame so no danger of it falling off. The bed we found too Soft and difficult to sit up in or just getting in or out. I had a slight accident entering the bathroom I didnt notice the small step up and knocked my arm agaisnt the wall, so be aware of the step. Another negative Point is the Wall in shower, the water hoes all over the Floor so we needed to use the towels to stop the water and dry the Floor. We eat in the evening in the restaurant "Down Under" on the bottom level, having the tasting menu which was very Nice and at €39 per persoon not too expensive. This hotel is worth the visit.

I'm a hobby interior designer, and the concept of the hotel is just breathtaking, not to mention the luxury service. World travelers and 5-star vagabonds will understand what I mean...All floors are dedicated to a different continent, you will find a travel journal in your room, where you can share tips and tricks about Rotterdam, and if you are lucky to have a whirlpool (jacuzzi) in your room facing the old harbour, you might not even want to leave the room :) For love couple, if you need special treatment, you will find some useful products in the extra 'minibar', enjoy!

I wanted to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday and it's more than mission accomplished. A stunning view from our room, great facilities, splendid staff. Need I say something more? Go there and experience true relaxation, pure delight!

Stayed at mainport hotel with a group of friends for one night. Booked ourselves a spa treatment (lovely hamam!) and had a relaxed time. Rooms are big and comfortable. Slept like a baby in a soft and crisp bed. The location is right down the Erasmus bridge. As a local, my favourite part of the city is right across the bridge, at the wilhelminapier. Ideal to have dinner in the eventing. Did not have breakfast in the hotel, but can’t imagine anything wrong there.
