Loved this hotel. Clean, friendly, excellent room with very comfortable beds. The location was excellent too. Ten minute walk to Rotterdam Central Railway. Two minutes to a very lively bar/restaurant area (great atmosphere here). Would definitely recommend and would return
The position of the hotel is very near the centre with a metro station a few metres away. The room was large and comfortable with a perfectly functioning conditioning-air system. The private parking for the car was always available at a reasonable price.
Great hotel with very friendly staff with good use of English and happy to help with any questions. Restaurant has exclusive menu, may not be to everybody taste but i thought it was lovely abd restaurant staff were great especially as i was on my own... even the room service has a great menu
I was offered an upgrade to the excecutive rooms for a small amount and got a beautiful room with views of the whole city ! furniture and all fixtures were brand new and very elegant. The bar and restaurants were also very stylish and beautiful.
Loved the hotel, great room, great restaurant (in our top 5). Front desk needs a little more experience. On the corner near the centre of town, on a lovely singel (canal), close to transport. Rooms were very spacious
Working for 6 months in Rotterdam every week, I tried a couple of other hotels before, fortunately, finding the Parkhotel. Everything from the welcome at reception, to the comfort of the rooms, the breakfast, the gym, quick checkout....all extremely well done. And ideally located for the Witte de Withstraat and other nice places to frequent in the evening.
Went to the North Sea Jazz Festival 2017 and decided to stay at the Bilderberg Park Hotel. First time to Rotterdam so I didn't know what to expect, but the hotel was lovely. The Metro train station is just around the corner and shopping, museums and places to eat are within walking distance. We actually took the train to the festival with no problems at all. The staff was very helpful and pleasant and the rooms were nicely appointed. Ask for a room with a view because the night view is very nice. There is a simple but good breakfast buffet each morning and, though they do have room service, for other meals I would opt for walking around and trying restaurants outside the hotel. They also have bicycles you can rent to ride around because biking is a big part of how people get around. There is a city bus tour close to the hotel where you can hop on and off throughout the tour if you get on early enough in the day. If I ever come to Rotterdam again, the Bilderberg will definitely be at the top of my list.
We went with a tour group, and where told to use the oldest and smallest lift, instead the modern ones un the hall. The worst thing was having to González upstairs carry ing our heavy bags ourselves, as it is the only way to get to that lift! And, id that was nota enough, from the lift to our room we had to carry our bags again... total: even using the lift, we had 19 steps to get to our room with our lugagge, far from being what we expect from a 4 stars modern hotel, so, if you go to Rotterdam, do NOT choose this hotel!!!!
This is a very nice, complete and centrally located hotel. The metro station is just across the street and the famous and cozy Witte de Withstraat with its bars and restaurants is just a 5-minute walk. The hotel is partly renovated and I feel it makes a big difference in which part of the hotel you will be staying. Our room was in the relatively new tower. It has a lot of space and a stunning view (see pic). The breakfast is really great with a wide variety in choice. If you are lucky enough to catch good weather on your trip to Rotterdam, having breakfast in the garden is very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back to this hotel if in Rotterdam.
You can't beat the location of this hotel as it's within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and shops. The décor is very modern and clean but the layout is a bit confusing and kind of hard to navigate if you're only staying for one night. Room was clean and comfortable.
