I stayed last autumn with a friend of mine for 2 nights in this hotel and all I can say: it was just perfect. The room was clean, big and just gorgeous with a nice view. As for the hotel staff: They were friendly and very helpful. We even had wifi connection in our room which is most of the time very unusual and my phone was connected to a bluetooth stereo sound system. For its location, it's not far from the Centraal Station and the restaurant...Well you're really in the heart of Rotterdam and everything is just beside.
we were there for a work meeting, I found the hotel well structured and positioned. my room and the meeting room were a bit cold, the meeting room also a bit noisy, but the overall evaluation is agerage-good
Myself and my cousins stayed in this hotel for a weekend and it was better than we’d expected. We were supposed to have interconnecting rooms but that wasn’t provided, although we were next door to each other The rooms were beautiful, the location superb and breakfast just delicious! The hotel is located a 10 min walk from the main station or a metro stop is right outside. It’s just a couple of minutes from the street with lots of bars and eateries. I will definitely come back here with the hubby for a longer stay and would highly recommend it to anyone!
A very dedicated staff at the reception desk - helpful and polite - liked the way that I was called once in your room to see if everything was ok. Very good breakfast which included all sorts of meats, cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit and juices and also cooked breakfast. the room was delightful with a fantastic view of the Rotterdam skyline but i would not consider this room an executive room for which we paid.
Very good location, basically you can walk to nearly anywhere of interest within 10-20 minutes. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff friendly. They even have a pretty decent sauna in the basement, although the cold-water pool seemed to need some maintenance.
I have stayed here a couple of times and the hotel lobby and public area is nice and I hung around in the lounge a few times. Breakfast is very good and I like the location The rooms are not quite right but, I guess, it depends where you stay. I've had a room which is facing the main road and quite noisy as the windows aren't insulated. There is a light shining up on the hotel which also hit the room. Another room I had was soooo cold. There is a fan heater (rather than radiators) and I had problems to get that working and left it on while I went to the lobby to warm up. It was not on a timer so it was always cold to enter the room or in the mornings which was not great if you plan to spend some time there. I did find the gym but it wasn't worth the effort. Expected more from a hotel of the size
I've had an amazing stay at the hotel! Wonderful room with an spectacular view. We were late for breakfast but the staff was very helpful to search for a restaurant in the city for lunchtime. Everything is in walking distance, which is very nice. After shopping we went back for some coffee before we went home and we got the 'Bilderbergje' cake. Recommended! Special thanks to Mark from the Bar!
I spent 4 nights here in November for work. The setting of the hotel is perfect, you feel you are in a high end luxury establishment. The food, staff and service cannot be improved, keep doing what you're doing. The room was large, and had all the facilities you could ever need and extended the feeling of luxury with large comfortable beds and stunning views of the Rotterdam skyline.
I recently returned from a 2 day/1 night stay at the Bilderberg ParkHotel; first impressions were really good, the lobby design and feel is great, the reception staff are professional and efficient although they could smile a bit more or at least act as if they are happy. The rooms are lovely and beds are incredibly comfortable. It is such a shame that the service at breakfast was dreadful - breakfast runs until 10am on weekdays - I got there at 9:30 only to find tables with no cutlery. The cooked buffet was not good at all - rubbery scrambled eggs, burnt bacon and no brown sauce!! All this from the same kitchen that has been inspired by a Michelin star chef!! Having asked 3 times for a knife and fork without any success I went found my own in a draw. Once I had eaten the rubbery eggs and burnt bacon which by now was cold I decided to have a croissant only to notice the basket was empty - I asked if they had any more, again I did not enjoy the courtesy of a response so had to chase up again - this time I was told that they would have to cook some more and I was made to feel like I was really putting them out..it is still only 9:45am and breakfast runs till 10am!! They did supply some fresh croissant's but then myself and my colleagues were told to hurry up and leave so they can set the tables for lunch - the breakfast manager then started to clear our table.... In my opinion if you are paying the price for a room and breakfast you should be able to eat it in a comfortable and relaxed manor.
Bad experience in this hotel where I stayed 2 nights. Room 3212 is big, there is classical large radiator in the room but it is not working. The heating comes from a small device which is looks more like an air conditioning device. The hostess was kind enough to fix it the first night when I checked in. The room took a while to warm up. Second night : bis repetita. This is wrong ! I can read that other customers faced the same issue. When I asked for a discount, the management was kind enough to offer one night of parking. Breakfast is okay. If you have a heavy suitcase, you would still have to carry it for a few stairs as there is no elevator. The restaurant 'the park' is good but rather expensive.
