The hotel was strategically located in the food district, and nearby supermarkets provided guests with access to necessities. The hotel staff were super, they made sure I was comfortable. One of the staff even gave me a map and gave recommendations on where to go and where to eat.

A nice little hotel off the beaten path. Location is convenient; we were able to walk to most attractions. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good with many choices including cooked to order eggs. Definitely an older hotel, but clean and comfortable, and affordable! I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

We would recommend this property without hesitation. Staff are lovely, room is comfortable. There is a comprehensive Continental breakfast and many food options nearby. Everything is walkable from.the hotel and there is plenty to see and do. We'll be back.

Reasonably priced room; very quiet. This is an older hotel with somewhat dated decor, but it was clean. There was a television and good wifi; nice ensuite bath. Good location, too: less than 5 minute walk to tram / metro station, and two tram stops from Rotterdam Centraal (which was walkable as well).

I had a nice stay at the Hotel Breitner. The staff were all very friendly and reception was manned 24/7. Single room was not flashy but fine considering the price. No in-room tea or coffee making facilities but the hotel does offer a complimentary Thermos of hot water upon request. Property is located at the end of a residential street, a short walk through a passageway at the end of the road leads to a main road (Nieuwe Binnenweg) with shops, cafes, bars etc. I was in Rotterdam for a gig at Rotown which was conveniently located less than five minutes' walk from the hotel on this road. Five minutes in the opposite direction, are the Nieuwe Institute and Art Depot museums. I walked from Rotterdam Central Station to the hotel in about twelve minutes. Tram would have taken about ten. I would definitely stay here again.

I liked the location; easy reach to central station and shops etc. Staff was fantastic and really helpful. Breakfast was good and good selection. Shower and bathroom was good, although the built-in hairdryers really need updating I couldn't put 4 though as I booked a twin bed room and it started it had a ceiling fan, but my room did not. It had a bunk bed style bed instead, and because of no fan it was very warm. And as it was fully booked, I couldnt swap. Would stay again but only if I get what I actually booked.

Great location convenient to train station and Markthall areas (~15min walk). Rooms are smallish, but perfectly serviceable. This is an area where people live, not just for tourists, so great to get a feel for the city.
