The Una Hotel is a wonderful place to stay while in Rome. You are close to everything! You are close to the train station and steps away from many day trip meeting spots. The hotel itself is an oasis in its neighborhood. The hotel is clean, quiet, and they have a fantastic free breakfast every morning for guests. It was so quiet and relaxing to rest after long day trips. The air conditioning was spectacular and the room was much larger than any place I have stayed while vacationing in Europe. It is a great hotel!
Hotel was clean, modern and luxurious. Desk staff could maybe have smiled a little bit more but still very professional. Excellent overall. Was able to leave my luggage there all day because of late flight. Side note if you like use wash rag to shower bring your own because "we don't use them in Italy"
I was pleased when I told the taxi driver where we were heading and he said "oh, that's a NICE hotel!" He was right! It's conveniently located 1/2 block from the metro and 1.5 blocks from the Termini train station, so accessibility around the city is excellent. I had worried about it not being in a good part of town (usually neighborhoods by train stations aren't), but this was an exception. It seems safe and there are restaurants and shops all around. The hotel itself is beautifully styled with exotic accent wood and sleek stone. There is an elevator, so you don't need to lug your suitcases up flights of stairs, and the rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. Wifi works, AC works, and the rooms are clean (no bedbugs). Breakfast is pretty good. I'm not a breakfast person, but there was enough of a selection to please everyone. We had a challenge figuring out how to use the shower and it's one of those hotels that requires you insert your room key into the master switch to turn on lights, so if you're not used to stuff like that, have the bellhop bring up your bags to explain it. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
Only spent one night with family but they ipgraded us and we're nice to work with!
My wife and I stayed here during our first trip to Rome, and it was great! We were pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was, especially the bathroom. The contennental breakfast was very generous and more than we expected. It was nice to be able to have a full belly before starting our day. The maid service did a great job, keeping our room clean every single day which made it nice to come back to after a long day of site-seeing. Lastly, the location of the hotel is perfect! It's only a two minute walk to the Termini station which made it super easy and convenient for us to get around the city and get back to the hotel. There was also a great restaurant right across the street called Imperivm, if you end up staying at UNA you should definitely check it out!
The location is why we initially picked the hotel. We were warmly greeted on arrival (late which the hotel confirmed back prior to arrival via email that it was no problem). The room was huge and we had the free mini-bar which was well worth the room upgrade. It included free breakfast which was good but not as good as we have had in Europe in the past. Very clean and modern. The area outside the hotel is not the best but then again it's only due to the fact its near the train station. Also, its very close to the Metro stop and there are convenience stores and restaurants in the immediate area.
This is a clean and nice hotel just one block away from Termini. Although the neighborhood is not as glamorous as others parts of Rome, the transportation is so convenient to go anywhere in the city. Room is very clean and modern.
Super location near Roma Termini train station - one block away. We had a suite which was beautiful! We spent our last night in Rome here and wished we had another day to lounge around in our spacious room and take a bath in the luxuriously huge tub! Wonderful breakfast buffet was included in our rate and it was plentiful, delicious, and had many options. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Rome!
We stayed here 4 years ago and wanted to come back, very satisfied again!!!
2 mins walk from Rome Termini. Nice and Clean hotel to stay.
We will definitely without a doubt staying at UNA Roma Hotel the next time we are in Rome. From the moment we checked-in with Simone, we knew already that we are going to have a great experience with the Hotel Staff and the Hotel itself. Nice and Clean room, good breakfast, staff are very accomodating and the location is perfect walking distance to Colosseum, Spanish Steps and many attractions.
We spent 12 nights at the Una. First it was easy to find after riding the train from Fumicino (only 1 block away). The staff was very friendly, most had excellent English skills, pretty good breakfast, and more than adequate rooms. We had to change rooms because of a maintenance problem--we inspected two rooms to move to and turned down one. They were very co-operative during the whole process and made it painless for us. The staff was pretty good about advice on sights and tours although the bus on the Pompeii tour was tighter than any I've ever ridden on. It is quite and very clean. We would go again anytime and stay with them!!
Amazing location very easy walk to train station. Staff was very nice. Food was wonderful! Best of all was the room. You will not find a bigger more comfortable room in Rome!
Good hotel that has a good location since it is very close to the Termini station. Bed and room was good except they only gave 2 very soft pillows so we had to use our travel pillows while sleeping.
Great visit. Very well located adjacent to Termini Station. Walking distance from many attractions - Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and more. Rooms were modern but small. Excellent breakfast, very accommodating staff/service. Will def stay here again!!
Very clean room. Love the modern details. The staff were helpful. Breakfast buffet is good. Very very close to Termini station and easy walk to close by sites and/or easy metro stops to sites.
My room had its own private patio--a nice surprise. It was lovely to sit outside and watch the light change. The bed was comfortable, the sheets luxurious, the amenities all top notch. What an unexpected gem of a place. And it's only a black from Roma Termini station, plus within walking distance of most of the Ancient Rome sites.
Overall the experience was good. The room was fairly large and clean and the bed was mostly comfortable. There were a couple of issues though. One, the toilet was exceptionally high. I'm about 160cm which is not tall by any means but not too short either and my feet did not touch the floor while sitting on the toilet. Very weird. The other thing is there was nowhere to hang the small towels in the bathroom so you had to just throw them somewhere. Another thing is that the chair in the room was not very comfortable either and seemed to be for very tall people too. The last thing is that the shower head was quite clogged so the spray was very thin and strong and was painful when opened fully so you had to open it only half way. One more thing, the hotel is close to the central station but also close to a neighborhood where there seem to be lots of immigrants so I have to say I did not feel very safe walking there at night.
My sister and I visited four cities while vacationing in Italy (Venice, Florence, Rome, and Milan.) Una Roma Hotel more than met our expectations. It was the best hotel out of the four different hotels we stayed at during our vacation. The hotel is conveniently located very near Termini Train station. We requested a room in the upper floors since we read a review saying the street could get a little loud at night. Our room was in the fourth floor, it was quiet and the best sleep we had during our vacation in Italy. The room was very clean and luxurious. The bed was really comfortable and we love the fact they have different pillows you can choose from according to your preferences. Definitely worth the money.
We spent a few nights here prior to our cruise departing from Rome. It was well appointed, centrally located, with courteous staff. Lovely start to a wonderful trip!
