Communication leading up to our stay was clear, but failed after checking in. They met us at 1:30pm to drop off luggage and return for the arrival time of 2pm. . When we returned, the cleaner stayed until 3:30 just sitting in one of the rooms playing on his phone and said he was waiting on the linens. So, we sat in the entry room for 90 minutes as we were still in our travel clothes and too hot to explore outside in long pants. At this point we lost our desire to power through our travel exhaustion and canceled our 5pm walking tour.
We understand that rooms might take longer to clean, but there was zero communication on what was going on. There wasn’t even any toilet paper in the bathroom to use the restroom.
The shower drain didn’t work because so much hair was left in it. While the apartment is cute and plenty large enough, it is extremely low on supplies. I understand rentals ran by large rental companies tend to provide minimal supplies, but this was ridiculous. For a family of 4 staying 4 nights, they provided 2 of the smallest rolls of toilet paper you’ve ever seen. The kitchen had one old sponge that looked like it had been used for months and a couple tablespoons of dish soap that had clearly been watered down. One dishwasher pod was pre placed in the dishwasher. No kitchen towel or paper towels so I used a bathroom hand towel.
Coffee maker and teapot were broken. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this rental.
