The place is walking distance to VATICAN, Rome. I love the situation. The host help me to arrange transportation to and from airport. They have lift if you need it to bring your luggage. Warm welcome by the host. They inform me about the room + facilities and benefit. Very comfortable. They also do housekeeping service. Thank you teatime guest house
I stayed here for a week during April 2017. I absolutely loved this guesthouse. The (fluently English speaking) owners are both incredibly helpful, they provided me with guidance on where to visit, how to get around etc, even some Italian language lessons! They offer a transfer service to and from the airport, I would recommend this, once you are at the guesthouse, pretty much everything is in walking distance. I comfortably walked to the Vatican, Coliseum, Spanish steps etc. The only thing I could possibly complain about would be the wifi, it only worked in the bathroom (which was closest to reception), personally I found this rather bemusing, rather than a serious issue, I did not travel to Rome, a city with such amazing history to surf the internet for any length of time. The room was lovely, beautifully clean and spacious. I would recommend this guesthouse without the remotest of hesitation.
The place is really close to Ottaviano metro stop and even if you have never been in Rome you will easily find yourself. Very close to Vatican City and 2-3km from other important places to visit like Villa Borghese, Fontana Di Trevi or Collosseo. Like in every guest hotel you have employees available to talk with you only in the morning or until lunch, at list that is what I saw, however you can call the owner and they will try to help you. Unfortunately internet doesn't work at all, the connection stops working every second. TeaTime charges extra FEES if you arrive after 7pm and prices increase after each our, so be careful and check in in advance! So after all I won't give a bad grade but neither a good/excellent to this place. It's normal, mainly because of the price, which is not very cheap neither super expensive. I will say "its worthy". But for sure you can find best options in Rome for the same price, like and B&B for ex.
The (English speaking) owners have service off to a tee. The rooms are well furnished, beds comfortable, bathroom excellent. Tea and coffee are supplied, along with a mini bar/fridge, and Breakfast snack. The Calor Cafe a few doors away, is great for Breakfast, along with other restaurants nearby. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of a large building with a good lift. The hotel is in and excellent location, handy for the many attractions especially the Vatican. A Metro stop is near by giving access to many other parts of the City. The owners are also able to provide airport transfers, so do email them for details. We left at 1.00pm but they were happy to keep our luggage until then. If we return to Rome would not look to stay else where, and would not hesitate in recommending.
Me and my partner stayed here with my teenage son. We had two rooms next door to each other. The rooms contained everything we needed with a modern bathroom, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and some toiletries. The facilities were very clean and tidy. The hosts were very nice and recommended places to us to eat that were close by all of which we went to and they lived up to the recommendation. Although Teatime is situated on the Vatican side so away from the central station, it is close to the Vatican and St Peters and they were only about 10 minutes walk away. There were also metro stations close by which we made use of. There is a great cafe/bar/restaurant a couple of doors down that do great espressos and food so make sure you check that out to.
Me and my wife stayed here 5 nights, and felt welcome from the first moment we arrived. Beautiful room with a very nice bathroom, good airconditioning and friendly hosts. A good selection of restaurants right nearby, and in a tranquil area of Rome. Just a short walk from the Vatican, and with the Metro within reach the Teatime Guesthouse is excellent for exploring this eternal city. I warmly recommend a stay here!
We stayed here with our two girls (11 & 13 years) for 2 nights having booked a family room, sleeping 4 people). The room was exceptionally clean & the (english speaking) owners were so helpful & friendly (thank you!). The rooms are on the third floor of a multi-occupancy building. There is a good lift, so no need to carry the suitcases up the stairs! The rooms are nicely decorated & there is an en-suite shower room. Free teas & mini bar in the room too (first bottle of water is free - a nice touch). Beds are very comfortable. There is also free internet connection & very effective air conditioning (not very noisy either!). The location is nice & quiet too. Buses stop outside the building but we walked everywhere & got to most sights within 30- 45 minutes). Metro stations are also nearby. We enjoyed our stay here. We got some great restaurant recommendations from the owners & they also booked our return taxi for us (10 minutes to rail terminus, or 30 miutes to the airport - cost EUR 48). We highly recommend staying here & hope to return one day!
The overall standard of the Hotel was great. Couldn't fault anything with it. The staff were friendly and full of knowledge about the city. The room itself was good, comfortable bed, nicely decorated and good size bathroom. The room was well kept and cleaned every single day. Location couldn't have been better. Well connected with two metro stops nearby. It's also situated in a lovely part of the city with some good places to eat nearby. Also the Vatican is just a 20 minute walk down the road with the Castel Sant Angelo not too much further. Anything you want to see in the city can be accessed from here either by walking, metro or bus.
This is a very small family-run business in Rome. I am very satisfied with the service received from the owners. Room was nice, the bed quite comfortable, wifi worked perfectly, and bathroom clean and nice. As a constructive critic, I would say that it should be reconsidered to charge clients with 10€ extra for storing the baggage after check-out (until 13.00 is free). In any hotel or B&B I have been so far, this is a courtesy service to the client.
My daughter and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable, we had coffee and tea making facilities, the bathroom was a great size, the room was spacious and very clean. At the time there were renovations happening which the owners were so apologetic about but to be honest we really didn't hear much at all, we slept like babies. The weather was terribly hot but our air conditioning had no problems keeping us very cool. We had to leave very early in the morning and owner organised a taxi for us to go to the airport, she was very helpful. I would recommend this Bed & Breakfast for sure. Thank you
