Good things: the property had Ac, and was centrally located as described. Stay also had clean towels, plenty of toilet paper and gift bags with shampoo and a hand soap bar.Bad things: AC only went into the living room, not the bedrooms. There seemed to be a problem with ants and spiders. My mom got a huge spider bite while sitting on the couch that made her bleed. There were bottles for hand soap and dish soap but there wasn’t any soap in them. The fridge handle was broken, and the hair dryer has a piece of plastic in it that makes the hair dryer smoke if on hot. Pillows had an odor, and there is a repulsive odor that comes from the bathroom. I know it is an older building but I have not had this issue with any other older buildings I’ve stayed in. Every time you take a shower or sometimes just generally out of no where the whole house and bathroom will smell like sewage. The balcony is quite small, there is no room to sit on it. While this apartment wasn’t the worst solely because of the location, I think they are asking a ridiculous amount of money for what it’s worth. There are other better places in Rome to stay that are much more worth your money.
