Hotel needs a couple of changes to the room and breakfast hours. No irons available, no coffee maker Nor available until 7 am. Buffet should open before 7 am due to excursions we couldn't eat before our daily events.

The benefit of this hotel is that you feel like you are in Rome. it's old fashioned which is part of the charm. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it's not so far to walk anywhere however most would require some sort of transport. There was a really strange smell the first night in the washroom, I think an old hotel and pipes this sort of thing happened, next day after the maid came it was fixed. My only complaint is the WIFI is terrible. Always got bumped off and needed to keep switching networks of different floors. The speed was truly 3rd world and they should invest in an upgrade. If wifi is not important the hotel is worth it. Tip: Buffer breakfast....ask for the espresso from the back not in the main area )

My husband and I went for our first trip to Rome and loved it. The hotel staff was amazing and showed as an upgrade to our room we booked and we took the upgrade. We had a beautiful balcony to look out on that hot a huge tub! The tub did take forever to fill up and the jets didn't work, but it was still nice to soothe our aching bodies from all the walking. The most amazing part was their breakfast! It was extremely delicious and had a ton of options. If we go back we will most likely be staying here again.

The front desk was acting unprofessional. Wi iFI was not working for three nights. When I complained to the front desk supervisor he acted rude. When asked for his manager, he sarcastically presented the hotels computer technician as his supervisor. This kind of attitude was totally unacceptable and ruined the whole stay.

Went to Italy for honeymoon. After Venice booked 2 nights in Rome. Stay at Romanico was very disappointing !! Asked for a double bed for our honeymoon and was given 2 singles !! Tried calling ahead of time...called number several times NO ANSWER. Phone number ORBTZ gave was a different hotel number!! I would like hotel or ORBTZ to contact me for discount for the future....as this was the worst experience I ever had booking a hotel room with a DOUBLE BED !! And DO NOT want to book through ORBTz. Very bad information given for this hotel !!

A nice hotel for our first trip to Rome, definitely will not stay again the wifi is very weak.

Amazing hotel, perfect spot, friendly staff and beautiful inside and out. Highly recommend this hotel

Enjoyed the overall experience. However, no in room coffee maker, no iron in the entire hotel had to send clothes out to be pressed which cost additional time and euros. Also had to pay for breakfast in addition to the room. No options, of 4 days missed breakfast 3x due to early morning tours. Breakfast did not start until 7 am. Had to pay 26 euros a day for breakfast that was not available when needed. On the single day we were able to attend the options were nice, but not much in the way of meat and no eggs. Elevator got stuck early one morning we were trapped inside it for about 10 minutes. Location was across from the US Embassey.

Good location, elegant decor. On the down side a large compulsory fee of 60 euros for 2 nites which could be applied for breakfast or spa. Regular price should have included breakfast. Our room had an adjoining room divided only by a thin pocket door which was not occupied the first nite, but unfortunately was the Second nite. The occupant was awake at 05:45 blowing his nose continuously as loudly as a fog horn! This is no exaggeration. You could hear every sigh and light shone around the edges of the connecting door to illustrate how close he was. Not acceptable for the price! This connecting room would be good for a family, but not strangers!! Staff was good, but only shrugged their shoulders when told this at checkout

Great location by train station US embassey pretty much central to most sights 15 euro cab to vatican being furthest sight.ac and heating on seasonal so windows were nice to let in air . We swiched rooms for higher floor with courtyard no veiw to avoid street noise but room cooled instantly with windows open .staff will fix Your issues nicely . Rooms could be freshend up but Nice still .beds and lenens are imaculate every day for our stay .i would say 3 star mabee 4

Stayed 3 nights in this Hotel late Jan. 2014 . Staff were lovely and helpful. Room good. breakfast was marvelous. We both had ordered a a salad late on the first night in the bar but were disappointed with it, as it was literally a plate of lettuce and a chopped tomato with no meat of at least a piece of cheese at 10 euros each. In fairness to the hotel we made no comment regarding this at the time as we did not wish to dwell on this but just enjoy the break.Other than that was a great place. wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Might be useful if a tea or coffee facility was in the room.

The hotel was great! Staff is really wonderful, the breakfast very good with variety of pastries and fruits, rich and tasty. The room was good, but small for a family of 4. We travel with our daughters (18 and 15) and a quadruple room for 4 people with not enough space for 4 bags and just one bathroom is not comfy, but we were most of the time out so it's was not so bad... The general decoration and the terrace where they serve breakfast are the two main points of this hotel. Also the location is very good, really near from the terminal, walk distance from a couple of ruins and museums and not so far away from all the major highlights of the city. We did almost all the visits walking from the hotel. My recommendation is to check on the room capacity and if you go with kids, try to get 2 rooms! :-)

The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful. In a perfectly nice location.

The location near Via Veneto and close to the main monuments and attraction of the city center is one of the many strong points of this hotel. My room was very comfortable, silent and and clean. The Terrace where a very good buffet breakfast is served is spectacular. The staff was very efficient, friendly and helpful.

The staff here is wonderful!! They go out of there way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It is within walking distance of the Spanish Steps and from there most of the fountains and such things. There is a bus stop right out side the door and they are very helpful with that as well.

We loved this hotel and hope to go back again and stay in the same hotel. We were shocked for what we got especially for the little money we paid. It is such a beautiful hotel! It is in perfect location and close to everything, walking distance from Spanish steps. The decoration is so beautiful and classy that feels like 5 stars hotel . Our room was beautiful and very comfortable.

Very disappointed in the overall experience. Room was clean but that is the only positive. Bed uncomfortable. Wi-Fi unreliable. To describe the room as small would be overstating it. It was TINY. The staff were friendly but not helpful overall.

We highly recommend this hotel. The concierge was very helpful with everything we needed. The room was small, but pretty and very clean. A lovely breakfast buffet on a terrace with an incredible view. We were very happy!

This hotel was in a great location walking distance to the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain Villa Borghese and lots of other great places. I loved my room the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast buffett was very good

Location is great! that's pretty much it!. It's gaudy and not updated. The showers floods the entire bathroom floor.
