The apartment is in an excellent location in Trastevere. Easy to get to everything in Rome. Quiet, with a nice outside space. Riccardo was very responsive and we enjoyed our stay. Bonus that a wonderful bakery is right next door!
The place was exactly as expected and the host exquisite. I would redo it without hesitation.

Riccardo was a fantastic host from start to finish. Check-in was incredibly smooth, and he personally welcomed me and introduced me to the apartment, making me feel right at home. The place itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The location couldn’t have been better—just two minutes from the local markets, and five minute walk to supermarket, and some amazing patisseries. There are also plenty of restaurants and gelato spots nearby. It was also very easy to get around, with Tram 8 just a 5-minute walk away (straight to Piazza Venezia) and the H bus offering a direct connection to Roma Termini.Overall, the apartment was perfectly equipped, well-located, and made for a very enjoyable stay. Riccardo was kind, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. His place was like a home away from home. Thank you, Riccardo—I hope our paths cross again!Millie Grazie di nuovo Riccardo tu erano un fantastic host. Kind RegardsDario della Sydney, Australia

My husband and I loved the location. Walking distance to the colosseum, trevi fountain and the basilica. The place was quiet yet close to plenty of restaurants. Air conditioning was fantastic. The suite had everything you would need…even laundry detergent, plenty of hangers and even a book to read while I was there! Our host knew we did not drink so greeted us with pizza upon our arrival which was much appreciated after a long day of travel. He was very accommodating as we were late on arrival and didn’t communicate that with him. It is a bit difficult to locate (as we found many things in Italy to be) just a gate/doorway and then you get into the apartment complex. The shared common area was shaded when we were outside so that was nice. I would stay here again!!!!

Beautiful stay in Rome
My daughter and I absolutely loved our stay at Riccardo’s place. Riccardo was very sweet. He provided clear instructions how to get to his place and met us there. The location was phenomenal. 10 min walk from the park where the view of the whole Rome opens up. Nice coffee shops just at your door. Grocery store - 6 min walk. Where you are looking to cook yourself or eat out - Riccardo’s place was perfect. We will stay with Riccardo in a heartbeat if we are in Rome again.

A bad dream!
The owner did not show up. We discovered the key in a mailbox after 2 hours of waiting. We searched in the mail boxes, the name of the owner did not appear anywhere. We were about to settle in a nearby hotel.
There were no written instructions concerning the use of appliances or safety measures.
The bathroom was full of mould and the door of the shower was broken. The chairs of the dining table were so filthy that we hesitated to sit on them.
In general, the apartment had the appearance of a storage of useless and ugly objects just there to fill the space. We have been renting apartments for the past 25 yers. This is our first very disapointing experience and we ask for a refund of 500 euros.

Excellent location and comfy apartment
The apartment is very small, but well equipped. Hot water, AC, fridge, washing machine, and internet, all worked great.
The best part of it by far is its location. Right in the heart of the Trastevere neighborhood and at walking distance to hundreds of cafés (aka bars) and restaurants.
It is also at walking distance to the Tevere river. This proved very useful when getting to the Vatican, Saint Peter's Basilica, and Saint Angelo Castle, as the river's bike path, devoid of crossings or red lights, is much faster to walk and certainly bike than the street.
We walked to the Colisseum, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish steps from the apartment too, but mostly for fun, as these places are a bit farther out.
Dining around the apartment is top notch. So many good places.
Overall, this is a great place to stay for a couple that has enough time to enjoy Rome at a slow pace.

Excellent location
Great location in Trastevere. The apartment itself was adequate and Riccardo was responsive. Some suggestions that would make this place sensational would be: replace the kitchen table chairs (stained), better job on cleaning, include some chairs/table in the lovely courtyard for guest and a welcome gift and one sheet of paper with apartment info and recommendations would have been nice! Overall we enjoyed the experience that gave us a true Italian experience 😀

Great location and comfy place
The home is exactly as in photos. location is great and bed is comfy. We had everything we needed for our stay and it was nice to have the door open to the courtyard. Bakeries, tortellini store downstairs and market right outside in the square everyday is amazing and area is quiet. We walked all over rome from this location and it was so convenient. also there are so many restos in trastevere we didn't have to go far for dinner. Highly recommend. We are just two so not sure how it would be with a bigger group.

Location, location, location!!
The apartment is located in a charming residential neighborho
We just spent 2 months in Trastevere - the apartment is located in a residential neighborhood. Next door is a fabulous bakery, gelato shop and a piazza that sells fresh fruits and veggies daily. This is the non tourist area so a truly authentic roman neighborhood.
Two things to be aware - the noise from the front door slamming. Unfortunately this went on all hours of the night especially during weekends. (This is something that the landlord cannot control).
The second thing is the bathroom - it is very outdated. It is a hand held shower with a tri-fold door that doesn't close well. I think an update would take this apartment/location over the top.
The owner Riccardo was so kind to us and we will miss him. Grazie mille Riccardo!

Good location but flat needs some attention
Ricardo very nice & responsive. The location is excellent & a fun neighborhood. The flat needs a good cleaning, new pots & pans & some organizing. It is nice to have a door to courtyard, but you can’t use it. English instructions for washing machine would be very nice. The bed is comfortable & AC works great. This place could be very nice with a little attention.

Wonderful Apartment and Neighborhood
We had a fantastic time in Riccardo's apartment in Trastevere! The apartment is spacious and relatively cool in the summertime. The neighborhood is one of the best in Rome--and the apartment is in an ideal location within Trastevere. One of the main piazzas is one block away--where they hold a daily farmer's market in the morning and a free cinema at night. (It reminded me of the square in Cinema Paradiso!)
Riccardo was a gracious and accommodating host who was always available when we needed him. He even helped me when I had to leave (sadly) a few days early due to my job.
We hope we return to Rome and stay in the apartment again! Thank you for everything.

My favourite flat in Trastevere!
The flat is perfect for one person and big enough for two. It's perfectly situated 50 m from the Piazza S Cosimato which means you're in the center of Trastevere without all the night-time noise. There are lots of food stores and "norcerie" just a few minutes away, and then of course there's the food market at Piazza S Cosimato! Lovely! The apartment is on ground floor so there are no stairs to climb and there is also a small backyard so you can sit with open doors on hot days. his is my favorite place to stay in Rome!

Travestere Apartment lovely area
This property is old, but was clean. Bare bones, no luxuries. What it has going for it is it’s location. In a fabulous location. I can’t stress that enough. My only complaint is that there was only one blanket. I snore so sometimes my hubby and I like to sleep separate, but couldn’t because all they had was one blanket.

A mere 5 degree shift could make this place so much better!
On the plus side: location and price were good. But this place seriously needs a good cleaning, and organizing! I pulled sticky glasses out of the cupboard. There are bits and pieces of like dishes in various cupboards, and one cupboard greeted the senses with the unmistakable door of rancid flour. But as that cupboard also holds various cups you can't avoid using it.
There is no functional coffee maker, despite 3 (filthy) espresso pots. All are lacking the rubber seal. To me providing a way of making coffee is a fairly basic expectation of tourists.
I hung my dresses in a closet that had cleaning supplies on open shelves right next to them and I was careful not to have any of my clothes touch against the cleaning solutions.
The place has a miniature ant infestation..on the bathroom floor, kitchen counters and kitchen floor.
In fairness to Riccardo, I expressed all of this to him before we left, as it is possible that he simply wasn't aware and would appreciate learning this. However, I have received no reply or even acknowledgment from him.
This place is obviously an easy cash grab but clearly the comfort of guests is not a consideration for the owner. With very little effort, time and work, he could turn this place around in which case it could charming.

Cute apartment, great neighborhood
This apartment was perfect for the two of us for two weeks. It's cozy and homey. We cooked for ourselves most nights, and the kitchen was sufficient for that.
We loved the neighborhood! There's a piazza at the end of the block with a produce / fish / meat / cheese market every morning. In the afternoon, the market is gone and the kids take over (including the playground). In the evening, it's still alive with people. There are several grocery stores nearby, two bakeries, and innumerable great little restaurants. And you're a five minute walk to transit to the Colosseum/Forum, the Vatican, Piazza Venezia, the train stations, and on from those with connections.
