Picked the hotel because it was cheaper than being in the centre of Rome. The room was clean and on arrival found the fridge and safe were not working, spoke to reception and both issue were reaolved straight away. Location is easy enough to get to the Metro and then away to see the attractions. The down side was on the Friday night water came pouring through the bathroom ceiling!! The night duty came up straight away but it had subsided, can only guess someone above had over run their bath?? We were offered another room but due to the late hour decided to stay in the room as it had stopped. The part which really ruined the last part of the holiday was that we were packing our suitcases for the return trip home and found some items had gone missing, it may only have been a couple of packets of sweets we had left in the fridge and some body spray that I had left on the dressing table, but the fact someone took it upon themselves to take them has put me off staying there again and who knows what else would have goe missing if we hadn't locked things in the safe or in our suitcases. Apart from that the hotel itself was very good.
The hotel is located at a quiet neighborhood but not very far from the center. There is a metro station 10-12 minuets walk away. Hotel is at an elevated location from the meter, so if you have big luggage take a taxi Rooms are clean and big. Bathroom was clean. There were enough supplies. There was no kettle in the room. No supplies for Tea. Bar was just 2 bottles of water. Not good enough for a 4 star standard. Breakfast was decent enough. There was lots to eat but not very good quality. Cakes were dry. Egg was also over cooked. Staff were friendly and helpful. You could book a taxi at the hotel and it will arrive in 2-3 minuets All the attractions can be reached in short time using metro. Wifi was fast enough.
The hotel itself wasn't too bad. Set quite far away from the centre but easy enough to get to. The area looks very dodgy though we had no issues with any locals. Rooms and breakfast are cheap and basic. Staff are polite, but went away with a few bug bites. Some appliances weren't fully working. For example, toilet leaked and we only had 2 working plug sockets. Rooms are very dark. Restaurant was overpriced without much choice. Not very Italian (not even a pasta dish). It states there is a bar.. there is not. None that we could see at least. Wouldn't recommend for more than 5 days or if you want to spend time there.
Stayed here the other day. Wanted a hotel with a car park. Check in smooth, room very clean and bathroom had a bath and was clean. Breakfast was quite good. Directions into Rome were spot on. 4 stops on the subway to the collesium and very cheap. I think it's better to stay out of the real city centre especially if you have a car. Park it here and use the subway. Well done Oly hotel
I stayed at this hotel with my son while on an economy tour of Rome. The breakfasts were fantastic. Lots of choice. This is NOT the place to eat dinner, though. Travel down to the major thoroughfares to have a slice of pizza and gelato. It will be cheaper and more satisfying. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, although the beds and pillows were overly firm for me. I felt bruised when I woke up! Small lobby, but additional conference rooms in the basement. Internet was sporadic. Couldn't have two people using it who were in the same room. In all, this was OK for an economy tour.
We stayed at the hotel during June. The hotel room was clean and spacious. Rooms were cleaned every morning. Breakfast was good and had various pastries. The only down side was that there was very little bacon. The hotel is a 10min walk from the station, do book a taxi when you arrive as the hotel is situated on quite a steep hill. It is a 20 min ride per metro to Roma Termini. It is located outside of the tourist hub and has good restuarants around which is a lot cheaper than in the tourist areas. Overall a comfortable stay and would recommend it to younger couples wanting to save some money but still want to stay in a good hotel.
Great hotel just outside Rome. Metro is 10 minutes walk away and for 7€ you can get an all day ticket. Breakfast is great, loads of choice. Rooms are big and cleaned everyday. Lots of restaurants nearby with cheaper prices and better food than you will find in the centre of Rome. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly. Book it you won't be disappointed
Having booked this hotel, the reviews were not bad & the website says 4 star hotel. What you DO get for your 4 stars is debatable but I'll do my best An array of Toe Nail clippings on the floor next to the bed from the previous holiday makers Sole marks on the walls and ceilings from other people's shoes with the offending mosquito/midgie still prominent Bacon bathing & dripping in fat in the breakfast hall Lack of cutlery, bread & bored staff throughout the breakfast hall, no thought for vegitarian customers with little to no separation of meats to non meat food stuffs offered What you don't get is Kettle with beverages in your room Iron for crumpled clothes Plug sockets that work Bath plug to have a bath Room carpet cleaned Seats to use on the balcony if you wanted to relax in the evening before bed Recepticles for drinking from if you buy water in big bottles & take to your room Extra pillows should you require them A swimming pool & spa (which is advertised on the web site) as they do not have one on site and the one they 'borrow' at a cost to the resident is some 10 mins away however it is shut at the moment so you can not use it anyway. Not an easy walk from the metro station (all uphill & 15 - 20mins brisk pace walking over uneven pathways & roads - definitely not suitable for anyone that is less than stable on their feet or gets out of breath easily) so would be best suited to arriving by taxi.
Ok place , breakfast not good - but nice and clean rooms . Waiters typical Italian - not proactive - but friendly. Overall good place ,10 min walk from Metro bus station.5 km to centrum. Nice and tidy, and style is ok regards to interior
My partner and I stayed at the Oly hotel for 3 nights. While the room was good, clean, spacious bathroom, and terrace on the 5th floor it also has it's draw backs. Unfortunately the hotel website advertises that there is a swimming pool. THIS IS FALSE. Pretty peeved after having spent quite a bit on a nice bikini. Second, the food at the hotel was pretty diabolical. Luckily for us we only decided to eat there on the last night but we were very disappointed with the stale bread, wrong starter and beef that was so chewy you'd probably need a set of dentures by the end of the meal. We weren't the only ones, while we were eating someone else sent a dish back to the kitchen and order a steak as their replacement and had the exact same issue. For a 4 star hotel, their restaurant is pretty abissmal. DON'T EAT HERE.
