Best location ever!!!! The place was good, comfortable and clean. Walking distance of all the main areas and restaurants. This is not a hotel but an old apartment building with lots of character, which we liked. I would definitely recommend it.

The proprietor was excellent; in a difficult moment trying to get a taxi, she was able to persuade the taxi we had ordered to take us, even though the driver objected to the service dog.

5 mins walk to metro Close to almost everything Shops restaurants tourist spots I guess in sacrifice for the location Room size is not the biggest Only has room for a double bed and luggage a desk and a chair This is the only B&B in my 4 weeks trip that I need to contact the host for check in instruction Maybe reach out to the customers in advance Will make it easier for the travellers

I stayed for 5 days and I really liked the location near the Vatican and it has the Ottaviano Metro station nearby and right in front of the Apartment there is the Military Bus station. But the best of all was the attention of Michela and her daughter.

Buyer beware. They offered me a room with a broken patio door that didn’t lock. I refused and they offered for me to use the locked shared bathroom in the hallway corridor (?) since it was “only for one night and a safe neighborhood”. As a solo female traveler visiting Rome for the first time, I refused, stating I could not sleep in a bathroom. Neither Michela, Lavinia, nor myself were able to open the door and all agreed it was broken. I was left to find another hotel elsewhere. It has been one month and they did not fulfill their promise to get me a refund. First they said they didn’t charge my card, then they said that Expedia never contacted them, then suddenly they had no employee named Michela but instead someone named Ruchicha who says the doors were always fine and denied the request to Expedia. As soon as that happened, Michela blocked me on WhatsApp and Lavinia stopped responding. Expedia says these people are lying to me. Shame on this company for treating a solo traveler like this. I would not recommend. If you stay here, make sure you have money for a backup because they don’t care and OPENLY LIE to you repeatedly. I genuinely believed they would do the right thing. I was wrong to trust them. Women: don’t stay here alone unless you have a backup plan. They will have you sleep in a bathroom or unlocked room or go out on the street without help. Posting this not out of revenge because it was only €70 but to warn other women or people on a budget: go elsewhere.

This place was beautiful! Very spacious, clean, and modern. The unit did have a/c (which we only needed for an hour one warm evening) and a mini fridge—great for storing grocery items. The breakfast was a voucher for a little place around the corner. Our only comment/complaint is that the key to the courtyard gate into the building didn’t work well. Other than that it was our favorite place we stayed in Italy.

Good place to stay but parking is NOT included

Hotel.com stated there's free onsite parking but there was NONE when I got there. I had to find last minute parking at a garage for 2 days since I needed to join the all day tours in Rome. It cost me $74 dollars which was totally unexpected since the place stated free parking for guests. Please take off the free onsite parking when listing this place

Unfortunately due to the Covid Pandemic I was unable to travel to Italy at all. The owners of Milizie 76 Gallery would not credit me or reimburse me or even try to be nice about it. So as far as I'm concerned it could be the best place to stay but I feel the owners could have tried to at least be fair about the situation.

Do not book if you have a car!

It was the worst experience I had ever had . I’m a frequent traveler and booked this place for the “free parking”. On arrival day, they instructed me looking for blue line parking space around the property then the second day moving my car to another line. This was not free parking! After I questioned hotel answered that if I didn’t like I could cancel the reservation. I canceled and booked another gas real free parking. I asked them about refund, they pushed me over to Hotel.com. Hotel.com helped me seeking for the refund. Unfortunately they refused and charged me two nights without gave back anything. If you have a car, do not book them! You do not have time every day to move the car looking for a free parking!

We were slightly late arriving, but the lady waited for us. She was lovely. The room was very nice , spacious and clean. The bathroom was well equipped but lacked shampoo. The bed was nicely made and bedding was of good quality. The noise at night from the road outside was very loud. This and it being a tad further than we thought were the only down points .breakfast is served at a cafe down the rd, and was sufficient. Sunday breakfast is it a beautiful little cafe a little further away, but it is stunningly different. All in all, I wouldn’t return myself, but can see why people would. If you’re only interested in the Vatican then it’s the perfect base, but a little too far from the main city for me.

Nice location, had to walk up 5 flights of stairs to get to room. Elevator safety was concerning. Overall nice stay, but please note that free parking only means that if you can find a spot on a nearby road you can park there. Not included with the hotel, we found it difficult to park anywhere nearby.

Almost great, horrible bed

Manager was friendly, place was in a great location, and the place looked great visually. However, every time we moved an inch on the bed, the frame and floor would pop like you can’t believe. It was incredibly loud and we basically didn’t sleep all night because of it. The mattress was also horrible. If they fixed those two issues, I’d give this place a 10/10 honestly. But man we hated the bed.
