Ovidio was a wonderful host. He offered us help for places to eat, transportation, and things to do. He went out of his way to help and ensure we enjoyed the area and got to the train station. My only suggestion is an upgrade to a better quality mattress. You could feel the boxsprings. I put a pillow between the mattress and boxspring which solved the issue for me. I would gladly stay there again. Grocery store across the street. Plenty of restaurants. Piazza Cavour just around the corner to relax in. Walkable location to the sights. Quiet, nice room, clean, safe, and friendly host. Loved it. Thank you Ovidio for a great vacation.

This property exceeded my expectations. The staff was so kind and accommodating. The area is very safe and walkable; I was out walking alone (female) until all hours of the night checking out the busier tourist attractions/sights and never felt unsafe. I would also get up and go out before sunrise to beat the crowds (then sleep during the day because it was so hot & crowded.) I would definitely stay here again

good location, walking distance to st peter's basilica and vatican museum, opposite building has a small supermarket and many nice restaurants. The room is dated and the closet is old and no way to open it, no hanger to hang anything.The air-condition has very weak air flow. Wi Fi has weak signal, some days are even not working.

The location was extremely convenient, steps from the airport bus, and walking distance to restaurants, shops, buses, etc etc. Ovidio, went above and beyond providing travel tips, assistance with luggage, etc and he replied to queries within minutes.

Good option for Rome at a reasonable price

The staff were helpful, and the room was well-furnished and clean. The food in the mornings was mediocre, however, but it was included in a reasonable room rate. The location is surprisingly good, Prati is a very nice neighborhood, and the historical sights on the other side of the river are convenient by bus.

I don't recommend staying in this hotel. Room is extremely small, sometimes there is no water, the area is very dirty and noisy. Also, not impressed with the staff: they asked me to pay taxes in cash, what? I paid taxes through expedia. Anyways, I recommend to save some money and stay in hotels close to Borghese villa. FYI Rome turned out to be a complete disappointment, very overpriced, overrated, dirty, with rude people, like a third world country. Not coming back.

Loved our stay!

We loved our stay! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and treated like their guests. They provided us with all the necessary information to get around town and offered to make arrangements for travel when our stay ended. The room was exactly what we booked and was clean. The hotel was close to many attractions, restaurants and transportation. If we were to go back to Rome we would stay here again.

Very enjoyable stay

The location of the hotel was great, especially if you arrived on Fiumicino airport bus. The neighborhood is fantastic and it's close to a lot of sights. The room was lovely with lovely furnishings. Some updating of the bathroom might be nice but it is fine. If you want a quiet stay, ask for a room towards the back.

Great Location

I love that the hotel is just a short stroll to the Castel Sant'Angelo and the Vatican City. There are many cafes and restaurants around it. The staff is also very friendly.

Great location but uncomfortable bed

Great location. Walking distance to all the major tourist attractions. Very near to Piazza Navona and the St. Peters Church. Hence the location was perfect and very convenient. Also nice and quiet neighborhood. Though our room was not facing the street, maybe why we felt it very quiet. However the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Could actually feel the springs through the mattress. And pillows very small and thin. Almost felt like sleeping without pillow. Furthermore, the room was not very clean. There was dusty everywhere, and it wasn't cleaned during our stay of one week. Seemed like house keeping only made the bed and cleaned the toilet and bath. But layer of dust everywhere was still there after housekeeping. Also there had not been vacuumed for a very long time under the bed, and it was not done during our stay either. Anyway, it was worth the stay due the very good location. And also very nice that we had key to the main doors so no need to have contact with reception or anyone else.

Absolutely perfect position.

We arrived late due to a two hour flight delay, but it didn't cause a problem with the guest house, even though it was after midnight. The staff on reception were very helpful explaining the best way to get about, and what we should see.

Excellent Location, good value for money

Good value for money. The location is excellent. Piazza Cavour is a trendy neighbourhood with all the roman glitter and restaurants but away from the crowds of tourists. It is 10 minutes walk to the Vatican, Piazza Navona and really a bus ride (not more than 15 minutes) from the Coliseum. The rooms are small and basic but clean and tidy. It will help if there was some tea and coffee provisions in each room, but given that, when in Rome, one doesnt spend much time in one’s room, this accommodation should suffice. Staff are helpful, particularly Ovidio, he deserves a special mention. He was more than happy to go above and beyond the call of duty to explain the transport system and to arrange anything we needed. He was proactive contacting our previous accommodation to retrieve some items we forgot. He was a (roman) fountain of knowledge when it came to things to do and how to arrange for day tours. It was reassuring and a pleasure to liaise with Ovidio .

Un viaje para rememorar

Era la primera vez que iba a Roma y fué para cumplir el sueño de mi madre que siempre quiso ver Roma y visitar el Vaticano. Nos gustó mucho la ubicación del hospedaje ya que estaba cerca del Vaticano y desde la Plaza Cavour te desplazabas al centro de Roma en autobuses urbanos. Gracias a Ovidio, muy amable y servicial, que nos orientó desde el primer día nos movimos por la ciudad sin problema. No tienen desayuno, pero Ovidio nos dió unos tickets para desayunar en una cafetería cercana. Si tengo algún pero es la ducha, era pequeñita. Por lo demás, genial.

Hospedagem maravilhosa. No momento do check in o Ovidio nos recebeu muito bem. Nos deu uma verdadeira aula sobre Roma. Abriu o mapa, foi explicando cada detalhe da cidade e os meios de tranportes para chegar em cada local. Ficamos cerca de 40 minutos recebendo orientações. Achei de um cuidado acima da média! Quarto confortável, limpeza diária e toalhas sempre limpas. Localização perfeita. Metrô a poucos metros, ônibus para todos os locais na rua ao lado. Supre recomendo e voltaria com certeza.
