Strange hotel set in apartments of at least two different buildings of alleys besides Navona square. Pros unbeatable location, good price, kind and attentive staff, cozy unusual rooms. So so. Our breakfast was in the room. It would be OK if you would have only carbs. If your breakfast is of proteins and fruit it's not for you. Cons. We contracted pick up at airport and failed. The worst is our room had the shower partition defective and both doors dismantled easily. One of them had the hanging roller broken and fall dangerously (it hit me twice in the foot).
very clean, very good location. Close to all the important places. Attentive staff, nice coffe to start the day, the room is small , but For those who are interested in just traveling most of the day like us it is a good solution- good money per value.
We arrived in Rome to a TAXI strike and had to use Uber to get to the hotel. Our driver couldn’t find it. He ended up dropping off at a corner “close” he said. We walked around it 3 times before we finally called the hotel and the Concierge told us he would come down to meet us. There is no sign anywhere stating that this was a hotel. However, we were blown away with the customer service and kind treatment we received. The rooms are tight but manageable. The location was excellent as a base for sightseeing. They bring fresh continental to your room each morning with coffee, juice, yogurt, boiled eggs and a basket of delicious pastries and breads with jam, honey, butter and Nutella. We highly recommend this place and would stay again. The restaurant around the corner, Papas Cafe, was also delightful!
Low cost accommodation, good value for money. Ok for short stops. Fantastic position for visit Rome monuments and museums. This bed and breakfast isn't well for families, there isn't a breakfast room, you receive it in the room.
This is not a hotel per se. It's a series of rooms (9 in total I believe) in two separate buildings. Once you find the correct green door (with two gold knockers) you have to press the buzzer to gain entrance. There's an elevator for 1 person but we never used it and opted to walk up the winding stairwell to the 2nd floor where you'll find the very tiny reception area. There's no lobby. Rooms are on this floor as well as some more across the 'alley'. Our room was clean and a/c worked well. Shower and internet do leave some room for improvement. Clean towels every day. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning (remember no lobby) and consisted of croissants, breads, hard boiled eggs, juice and accessories. Staff was pleasant and very helpful in getting our tour pick ups coordinated. However, the one person behind the desk leaves at about 8 pm each evening and you're on your own if you lost your key or need assistance. Location was very good (3 blocks north of Navona Square) but there are 'real hotels' similarly situated. If you're looking for a room with a view this is not the place. If you plan on touring Rome and will be out of your room for most of the day this may do what you want. I thought it was moderately priced but not the best value in the area.
We stayed in this place for 4 nights with my husband. We had booked the "studio" room for us, but the second we got into the room on the ground floor, we smelled a horrible stink of mold. The room was nothing like the photos in their website - it was dark and gross. The kitchen was awful, and all in all quite creepy some how. Because of the horrible smell in the room, we got to switch our room to upstairs, which was better but still not good. Our towels were not changed even once, the mini fridge wasn't cold at all and one day we had to wash our used glasses ourselves after drinking red wine from them. Also the toilet seat was broken. The one and only reason why I would recommend this place to anyone is the location. Next time we will book a hotel or at least another suites.
Very dirty dusty rooms. Old broken dirty furniture. Bad breakfast includes mostly bread. Air conditioner didn't work; Very poor light in general. No light in the bathroom close to the mirror. Smelly bathroom. Really bad place.
Stayed here 3 nights with a friend. After initial confusion being assigned a double room at #19, we were moved across the road to #4, which was very modern and comfortable. The location is what I love most about this hotel, in the heart of Rome, yet in a beautiful quiet little side street, with great local restaurants and strolling distance to anywhere you want to go.
I have been few days ago (august 2017) at Imerium Suite Navona. The apartment is centrally located, near Piazza Navona. The apartment seems very nice at the beginning, if you do not focus on details. The bathroom, have a Loog at the pictures. It is very small, and full of dust on the shelves. Then, there was a glass used by previous customers. the shower is very small, and when you try to wash yourself, you simply kick the shower glass. The kitchen. Lack of the lighter, one of the stoves was broken, and the kitchen furniture were really bad because old and humid. Also, I was obliged to wash the plates, glasses and cutlery because dirty and they have been unused for long time. Then, the coffe provided was old and with old (as in the picture), and the sugar was an humid old sugar rock. How can you prepare a coffe in a big stove? simply, just burning part of the MOKA (`coffe machine). Reception and invoice: Remember, when you travel, the TOURISTIC TAX must be mentioned in the invoice (VAT FREE).This rule is applied here in Europe. So, when I said to the lady at the reception to take the payment from my card, she denied it, and she said, do not worry. This is because an electronic payment leave an electronic finger print. Also, Rome is the most expensive city in Europe for the Touristic TAX. It was required me to pay 3,50 euros per person and per night. In Palma de Mallorca the touristic tax is 1.10 euros per person and per night. Details: I had two washing machine in the apartment. One was for the customer and the other was just parked in my apartment. I suggest to the police to investigate this black money. I will not come back in the same place. Good luck.
Location was the only good thing about this hotel it should be 1 stars. Started out hard to find in little ally way rung door bell took 10 mins to answer and open door 92 degrees out. First room we got was disgusting A/C was broke sweat all night. Moved to another building 2nd day which was updated but A/C broke in there too worst 5 nights of my life. Breakfast was danish coffee juice jams and eggs which i seen sitting in a hot closet not covered or refrigerated gross. Would not even give this 1 star stay clear of this place if you want a good night sleep and no food poisoning.
