The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tastefully decorated. Our travel agent contacted the hotel in advance, to request 2 double rooms with showers, not baths. We arrived to find that my husband and I had been put in a twin room, with a shower cubicle that was so small, it was almost impossible to get into! There was certainly no chance of leaning over to wash etc! Our daughters were put in single rooms, on a different floor to us!! We had to pay extra for breakfast, the choice was minimal and the breakfast room was very cramped. It was overpriced for what is was.
I have visited Rome with my wife and two kids and we were offered a very nice and spacious room (double bed and two singles). The staff was really nice and helpful and always ready to help. Location of the hotel is very convenient because it is 5 mins or so away from the famous Spanish Steps. Breakfast was fair but enough (bread, serials, croissant, coffee, orange juice, water). Another great value for money was the taxi they offered (mercedes) for half the price of the normal tariff. Really enjoyed my stay and I really recommend.
We stayed here for three nights in August. The hotel is in a great location, within easy reach of restuarants and bars and sights such as the Spanish Steps. The rooms are small and a bit dated but they were clean and comfortable, plus the A.C. was great. Breakfast was a little disappointing in that there was a poor selection but what was there (mainly pastries and breads) was tasty. The staff on the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for good value accommodation in the heart of Rome, the Hotel Garda is a good option.
This hotel is great for everyone and is in the best location. It is a small and comfortable hotel with very friendly staff who are always there to help. The rooms are lovely with a lot of space inside and both the room and the hotel were always clean and tidy. It is surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars and is only a short walk from the main tourist sights such as the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. There are always taxi's available too if needed. Me and my friends loved staying here and definitely will be again.
The hotel is in a perfect location with many restaurants around the area, it is a 4 minute walk away from the hard rock cafe and a short walk to the trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always on hand to help call a taxi etc. The rooms were of good size, some rooms offered a balcony which made for great views and picture opportunities. They also had A/C which was lovely after a warm day of walking in the sun. Would definitely recommend this hotel and visit again myself.
I really recommend this hotel while staying in Rome. Me and my friends stayed in a quadruple room and there was plenty of space for all of us and the bathroom was of a nice size. The room was clean and very comfortable to stay in and hotel staff were very friendly and eager to help. The hotel is in a good location as it is very close to attractions such as the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. We found that we were able to walk to most other tourist attractions within 20 minutes from the hotel such as the Colosseum. The hotel has lots of restaurants near by and so was ideal for me and my friends. I will definitely be booking this hotel again next time i visit Rome.
If you are looking for a good hotel in good location and acceptable price this one is for you. This is not a luxury hotel but clean and comfortable. Location is excellent. Very near to all famous places and metro station. Breakfast is good enough and fresh. Hotel staff kind and helpful.
This hotel is very good for the price. It's close to Barberini station and piazza di Spagna. The staff is very welcoming and professional. The rooms are comfortable enough. Nearby one can find lovely restaurants and shops. I'll stay again.
good location not far away from the Spanish steps, rooms are so tiny didn't manage to put my things in an arranged way, but clean rooms upon request! balcony was nice, for the breakfast you have to wake up earlier than others in order to have a seat, otherwise you have to wait for sometimes to get a free seat for having the breakfast! sometimes I preferred to skip the breakfast because of the waiting time to have a turn! staff were nice and helpful!
I stayed here for 13 nights. My room was clean and comfortable. It is in a good location, close to Pizza di Spagna. I had a room overlooking the internal building courtyard/space - so no view but nice and quiet. Shower was a bit dated and the shower head needs replacing. Breakfast was a bit repetitive but the nice Signora made coffee to order. The reception staff were excellent- very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on the 4th and 5th floors; you have to use the outside buzzers to get into the building and then buzz again at the internal door near the lift at the back left of the entrance hall. The place feels very secure - with some good old fashioned things like handing your room key in every time you go out and 24 hour reception staff. You can walk to the Spanish Steps in around 5 minutes. There were a couple of ok restaurants directly outside the building, a little bar and a shop with a few steps. I would stay here again.
