Zen mode in the iZen Room

Amazing hotel! Love the different themes of each room. Clean, comfortable, friendly service and in a great location. Highly recommend this unique B&B in the heart of Rome. So good I didn’t want to leave the room. I was in the iZen room and like the room itself, I was in zen mode the moment I walked in the room! Thank you iRooms.

Recommend staying at iRooms!

Room was clean and easily accessible for seeing all the tourist sites in Rome. There is a taxi stand a block away which made our trip much easier. Jacuzzi was a very nice thing to have in our January visit, and was taken care of well/cleaned daily. Netflix and colored lighting controlled with the iPad were also great bonuses. We used the Handy phone provided free which helped our navigation around Rome without using our own data. Everyone we spoke with in the office was helpful and kind, especially as we do not speak any Italian. Next visit we will stay in a different room (or different location of iRooms, they are everywhere in Rome), since each one is its own experience and is well worth it for the service, breakfasts and amenities.

Amazing location

Amazing location.. Everywhere within 20 mins walking distance. The hotel staff are mega helpful and on hand via iPad at any time of the day. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Cool rooms in a central location

We stayed in the iCube room which is one of the smaller rooms, but still fine. The bed was comfy, the shower room pretty, and the little garden balcony was right next to us. The wifi was always strong, and there were nice touches like an iPad, special coloured lighting to play with, 3D glasses to watch 3D films, a free minibar, and flipflops to put on.

Unique Boutique!

It was so fun to stay here! Each room has a unique theme and I got to sleep in a teepee! The rain shower was so enjoyable, I showered twice a day! The staff was super helpful and any direction you would walk from the hotel, you would find something wonderful to experience.

Great hotel! Rooms are so different but amazing! Location is great! Everything was walking distance! Hotel staff was so helpful! Greeted us at the door, showed us everything and pointed out some great places to eat! Would definitely be coming back to this hotel and would 100% recommend to anyone!!!

Hard to find, interesting room..

We stayed at the iRooms for one night before catching a flight back to Canada. The room we were given was not the room we booked on Expedia, it looked nothing like the pictures and we were disappointed. However we were fascinated by the room lights and technology but it is not worth the $255 cdn which we spent. Like most "hotels" in Rome they are actually rooms within apartments and location was difficult to find. I am 6'2'' and the bed was about a foot to short for me. Terrible sleep. AC was nice and cold which helped with the heat. Shower was cool however very small. Again, the room we booked looked nothing like the pictures we saw online. Would not stay here again.

Some positives, but a lot to improve.

This is not a conventional hotel. It's like a bed & breakfast (or an apartment with a couple of added perks). The rate is expensive for what they offer. There is always a staff member at the 2nd floor front desk from 8am until 12am. I was very happy with their friendliness and helpfulness. It was a positive experience. If you're not looking for assistance from staff, then think about staying in an apartment because you'll pay half the price of this place. There are some negatives that I was surprised with, and I wish I had known about them: - The room (iTube) was extremely small, with absolutely no storage space. You have a night table and 5 hangers on a rack. That's it! - The cleaning of the rooms could be improved, especially the bathroom floor and the sink area (there was toothpaste scum left in the toothbrush holder from past guests). - There are 3 rooms (including iTube) that face the patio area. On several occasions, guests would return to the hotel way after midnight, drink, talk out loud and laugh. It was very annoying as it was right under the window. This happened around 1am - 3am. I strongly recommend the hotel staff to lock the door to the patio when they leave at midnight. - There is no phone in the room! - Breakfast is served starting at 8am (too late), and it is extremely limited. - Shower: water must run for 5-10 minutes to get it warm. - On the day of departure, I went to see the cook at 7:20am but he refused to provide a bite to eat. Not nice!

This is the best wee hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. We stayed in the iWild room and it was more that I could have hoped for; I loved the funky lights and glow in the dark stars. The staff were amazing and friendly too.

Hidden gem

Greatly understaed little place, if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't find it. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for me. Funky, quirky and centrally located for pretty much everything on Rome. Fantastic base for a weekend away.

Stayed at the Spanish Steps

I was initially supposed to stay at the pantheon, but due to some maintenance I was moved to the Spanish Steps. I was a bit annoyed because I wanted to stay in the Pantheon area because it was more central to the areas I wanted to visit. After walking around in Madrid, Barcelona, Venice, and Sardinia...I just wanted the most convenient location for my last city on my vacation. After multiple emails, they offered a free upgrade. But it does all work out and I loved my stay at the Spanish steps. Everyone was extremely nice and really went over the top in making us feel comfortable. I appreciate their hard work. I loved how the breakfast was at a nearby restaurant. The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The location is excellent for those who enjoy high end shopping. We wanted to hang out more in trastevere, and that was a bit of a far walk. Overall, I enjoyed the B&B.

Amazing hotel & location

What an amazing & unique hotel experience. We booked iZen but had an upgrade for the first night to the iMovie, both rooms are completely different and couldn't really fault anything. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and you couldn't ask for a better location, right in the middle of everything within walking distance. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay here again.
