Stay away from this hotel, especially if you are American. The staff does not speak English and it can all be very confusing at times. When we got to our room the TV and the electric outlet in the bathroom were not working either. We talked to front desk and gave them a list (so there was no confusion because of the language), but half of the things were not addressed. Do not bother with their breakfast! At check out, I paid the city tax and the charges to my room. While I was waiting to go to the airport they told me the Visa was not charged, I told them that in fact it was and they were very rude, until I showed them the card receipt I signed stating that I was charged. In terms of the room, they are small and outdated. This hotel claims to be 4-star but I do not think so. The shower has a clear door, so if you travel with friends or kids, be ready to be seen naked by everyone... Just stay away from this hotel!

Stayed here for 5 nights in July. The rooms were a little on the small size compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Italy. Also the shower was separate from the bathroom which did not make my 2 sons too happy concerning their privacy. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was 'good'. Wish this hotel was a little more centrally located though.

We were here for 5 nights at the of June. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It is smaller than an "American" hotel room, but we knew that and the room was nicer and the bed bigger than I had expected. The staff was very friendly. I had a few questions before going and they were very prompt in responding to emails. We walked to the metro station, which is about 10 minutes away. The roof top bar was incredible. The only issue we had was there was often only one bartender and several guests--it seemed very understaffed. But, we only went up there when we were not in a hurry, so it was fine. It was a great way to end our day of touring. The breakfast was wonderful in a beautiful dining room. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Very nice hotel. ROoms were good sized. Shower was excellent. MOssed having having a bathtub especially Easter a long hot day walking around Rome. But, otherwise perfect. Terrace bar was beautiful to have drinks before going to Trastevere for dinner.

Since Italy does not have many rooms to accomodate 4 in a room out choices were limited. We came across this hotel and it was wonderful. Our room was large, updated and huge modern bathroom. It was overlooking the park which was very nice as after seeing all of Rome this was definitely the nicer part of town. It is walking distance to great reataurants. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. The breakfast was very good with a large assortment. The rooftop terrace is an added bonus. Perfect spot to sit and chat without being pushed to buy drinks or food. The wifi service was great.

We stayed here for four nights with our three children-ages 16, 13 & 9. The accommodations were adequate. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were updated but not modern. Hotel staff was pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast was good. Included both American and continental food. Good variety. Location was in a quiet area of the city. With easy access to the Borghese Gardens and the Spanish Steps. Roof bar was exceptional. A quiet oasis in the city. We'd definitively stay here again.

The reserved number was not provided. The rooms are very tired with the wallpaper wiped and not very clean carpet. The first impression of the accommodation provided by the hotel about Rome and the Romans was spoiled. Our agent wrote to the hotel about the discrepancy of our accommodation I really want to hope that tomorrow the hotel will fix everything and our impression will change.

We stayed at the Hotel Victoria - Rome for 4 nights in late June 2017. The hotel is missing some touches to deserve a five star rating. Here are a few observations of my stay: 1) Location is one block from Via Veneto at the top of the hill across the street from Villa Borghese park. The hotel is within walking distance to major attractions in Rome (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.); however, being on top of the hill makes the walk back a bit tiresome especially in high temperatures like we witnessed when in Rome, 2) The front office staff is friendly and willing to help and give advice on what to see in Rome. We complained about the room we were given the first night and, based on availability, were granted a much better room the next 3 nights, 3) Superior rooms are not as big as they seem on the hotel’s website and not all overlook Villa Borghese Park (depending on the floor – the higher the better due to the wall facing the hotel). The rooms have thin walls (able to hear the adjacent rooms) but lacks some amenities one may need, 4) Buffet breakfast is basic but contains almost everything (eggs, sausages, cold cuts, croissant, etc), 5) Limited choice of in-room TV channels, 6) Free Wi-Fi all across the hotel with acceptable speed and reliability.

Very nice hotel. We had connecting rooms and my parents had a spacious triple- which is 3 twin beds pushed together. Spacious lobby. Helpful staff. Large bathroom with a tub. Windows in your room that open. A beautiful rooftop bar with a Restraunt in one side. You can order food from bar side which is really comfy on couches there is a Restraunt inside hotel as well.

This hotel was built in 1899 and is what I would consider a boutique hotel. Its has many pluses and minus and that is why I have it an average rating. The Plus Side 1. Has a very good roof top restaurant 2. The breakfast, which is complimentary was very good 3. It sits on a fairly quite street 4. Clean room 5. A few nice areas in and around the lobby to sit and read or relax 6. Has free WIFI 7. The staff is very nice The Minus Side 1. The "Classic Double" room I got didn't look like the picture on the website 2. There is little to no storage drawers for clothes for the two of us so we were living out of our suitcases 3. No ironing board 4. The two beds are actually to twin beds put together that share one bedspread. If you are a relatively tall person like me 6'2" your feet will hang off the bed. I have been traveling for about 30 years and this is the first time I had a twin bed in a hotel. 5. I am from the US, the TV gets 3 English stations all news, CNN, BBC, and CNBC. I say this not that a cared but for folks with young families they may. So a good stay at a good hotel, but I will definitely check options when I come to Rome again.
