Good location, in the heart of Roma, about 300 m to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, the hotel is surrounded with restaurant , coffee shops and shops, but the room furniture is too old , especially the bed, TV, and no refrigerator, I am not really impressed with their rooftop terrace but very nice and helpful reception staff

The best part of this hotel is the rooftop terrace. It is quite large and comfortable. Breakfast is served on the terrace which is a great place to start your day and the buffet was quite good. In the evening we had drinks at the bar while planning our next day. It made the Hotel a very relaxing place to be. The staff were also all very helpful with any questions we had which made things much easier for our sightseeing. We didn't mind the average room since the hotel was so centrally located to everything. A very good value overall.

This hotel is centrally located in the pantheon area and has great walking access to local venues. The staff rated 5 stars: very helpful, accommodating, patient, and professional. We stayed three nights, and Tommaso, in particular, gave great recommendations for local dining options. The Breakfast rated 5 stars for freshness and excellent variety in providing an American type breakfast. The rooftop bar also rated 4 stars. The actual rooms review for ourselves and our group of guests rated a two-star for the high price of the room; we were disappointed by the mold in the bathroom showers. One room had a toilet that ran all night; the staff did accommodate a room upgrade. Overall, great staff, Bar and American breakfast...the actual rooms were disappointing for the price paid.

We were so incredibly disappointed with this hotel! I think the only good thing to say about it is the location is good and it has a beautiful rooftop bar. Once we checked into our room, we went back and looked at our paperwork to make sure that we were actually in the right hotel because the pictures that we had saw on the Internet looked so different in real life. It was in desperate need of updating and all I can say about the bathroom is that it looked like something in an old hospital...but at least in a hospital they probably would have worked to remove the mold and mildew! Gross!!

Nice hotel between the Pantheon and Trevi fountain. Excellent staff, especially Thomaso on the front desk who gave us Italian lessons every night. Glad we opted for a superior room as the standard ones looked a little tired and reather small. Bathrooms need updating. Everwhere was clean, however. Pleasant location for breakfast on the fifth floor. Enough choice but you have to pay extra for fresh orange juice and cooked items. The roof top bar was also very welcome but on the expensive side. Plenty of good restaurants locally, all very friendly and reasonably priced. Only one place to try the gelato, Venchi, on the way to the Trevi fountain. Queuing out of the door and easy to see why. Twice the price at the fountain and not half as good.

The first room we had was like a shoebox; very difficult to move around, and the aircon was broken. It also looked a bit run down. As this was middle of June, this was a big issue. The front desk were very helpful however, and switched our rooms. The second room was much more spacious, and was really lovely, also much better maintained. The location was amazing, really close to the Trevi Fountain, and in the middle of all the attractions. I found breakfast ridiculously expensive, especially for what it was. No hot food, and yet it was 15 euros each a day. The sun roof terrace where breakfast is had, really was a lovely area. I would have liked to make more use of the roof terrace in the evenings for drinks, but that was also very expensive, with prices being around 8 euros for a drink. I didn't really like the fact that you had to hand your room key in to the front desk when you left the hotel. They didn't really confirm your identity when giving you your key back either. The staff were all very lovely and helpful though.

We absolutely loved our time at 9Hotel Cesari. The location is UNBEATBLE (you are directly between the Pantheon and Trevi fountain, 2-3 min walk each way). The staff was amazing - the man who checked us in took 20 minutes to walk through on a map all the key sites and plan out a walking tour for us. The rooftop bar is incredible, open for breakfast and from 6pm-midnight, and always had plenty of space for us with great, creative cocktails. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and with great AC. We almost didn't book because people had complained about the hotel being "run down" and "needing updating". From our experience - everything was great. The wall paper might be dated, but this should not prevent you from booking this place - the location, service, cleanliness, comfort, etc. were all ideal for sure. We will 100% stay here next time and would recommend it to anyone!

Web just checked in and while the location is great, the room is very worn, the walls are dirty and there is mold in the shower. The place has a musty smell. I was told there are no other rooms available today.

This was the second time we stayed at the Cesari - the first time was 8 years ago. You can’t beat the location which is between the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain and within walking distance to all the major sites of Rome. It’s a very comfortable place to stay. We love the rooftop breakfast room and bar, and The staff who are very helpful and friendly. The downside is that the hotel needs refreshing. The decor is dated and furniture is getting worn. I understand that renovations are happening soon and I’m pleased. We will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at 9 Hotel Cesari. The staff were very attentive, and the location was perfect. The Trevi fountain and Pantheon were both 5 minute walks, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooftop bar was a plus, and awesome place for pre or post drinks.
