Property was clean and bright. Rooms are small and plain but comfortable. Staff is friendly. There are steps to get up to the elevator and either up or down to get to room from elevator, so not 100% accessible.

Great location (easy to walk to the sites). The family room was small a very tired. The bathroom very small and the shower pretty awful. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good, but not a huge choice of options for food.

Okay for the price

We traveled as a family of three. The location was perfect, with multiple bus stops and taxi stand available, steps away from the St. Maria cathedral. Staff are very friendly. We could feel that the building is old but the room was clean. The room was okay but quite small.

Hotel Verona is centrally located to many of the desired tourist attractions (Roman Forum, Colloseum, etc.). The room was spacious for the three of us and AC worked well on some very hot days. Walkable and close to shopping, restaurants and transit.

Fantastic location with most monuments in east walkable distance. Very friendly staff at front desk. Easy check in. Bed was hard (but typical bed by European standards. AC was just so so. However, we would stay here again. Really nice staff. GREAT LOCATION.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled after my recent experience at this hotel. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst stays I’ve had. First and foremost, the room was very dirty. There was dust everywhere , the bathroom had visible grime, the plastic shower curtain were full of mold and the bedding didn’t appear freshly cleaned. It was unacceptable and made the entire stay uncomfortable. The smell was terrible if the entire hotel. To make things worse, the customer service was terrible. The night front desk staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. When I brought up the cleanliness issue, they were dismissive and made no effort to resolve the problem. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For the price paid, the standards should be much higher. There are definitely better options in the area—I suggest staying
