From the website and reviews this hotel looked ok. Upon staying here, we found the room was great, but the walls were thin and we were woken each night by our neighbors returning at 2am. The area is also really noisy outside with the building seeming to be shared residential and hotel.
We booked a double through booking.com and asked for a double and got a twin room. They made the bed a double which to be fair was ok and the beds were comfy. We had a major mission trying to get coffee for the room which we got in the 3rd night as they had run out!? Rooms were clean and bathroom small but well laid out. Breakfast was standard continental and ok, hotel location is close to the station and other tourist spots so good central spot. Remember they charge city tax at 3 euros each per night which they only take cash! Loved Rome and will definitely go back as it is a beautiful city!!
Close to the railway station and to most of the interesting places of the town. Friendly staff, rich buffet for breakfast, quiet and clean rooms. This was my second stay and both times I felt comfortable.
We stayed at this hotel for three nights at the beginning of December, on a double room. I admit that the prices are low, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't have any standards. Our room was extremely small - we didn't even have room to unpack our suitcases, the television was not working, the walls were literally black from dirt and boot prints and we froze all the nights that we stayed there. The receptionist told us that the heat goes through all the hotel and we can't adjust it, but I think they only turned it on 1-2 hours per day, in the condition that outside there were 2-3 degrees at night. The breakfast was poor, with no fresh fruits or vegetables. What saves the hotel is the location, because you are walking distance from pretty much everything, but if you are the kind that also enjoys comfort when inside the room, this place isn't for you. If you don't care where you sleep and want to save up some money, you should give it a try.
We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time staff were real friendly room was small but perfect for the 2 of us housekeeping cleaned every day breakfast was continental and plentiful would definitely stay here again very central to everything
We were lucky enough to book our stay months in advanced and got the balcony room facing the Main Street. Very friendly staff and lovely breakfast area. Everything is within walking distance (Coliseum is only 15 mins away). On your first day if your not familiar with the sites do a Rome by Segway tour and you will see most of the big ones. Will definitely come back to this hotel again. Uber drivers are crazy like most traffic in Rome so take care.
We stayed here for a few nights from 15th oct 17 for 5 nights. Originally we booked a standard double but due to the mattress' in all the doubles we requested an upgrade ( which we were given) and the room was significantly nicer, much more space in there, higher standard of furnishing and felt better. This is the centre of Rome so you won't be getting 5* rooms but this hotel has a great location, the breakfast had a good variety and was always tasty and the staff are very kind and generous! always have a smile on their faces. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if we ever chose to go back to Rome
If you are coming to rome and not spending much time in the hotel then it's a great place to stay. Everything is 10-15 min walk away and the hop on hop off bus is up the road. Only thing is the breakfast isn't any good.
We stayed here for 4 nights in October and we were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is a comfortable 15 minute walk from Termini station and then well placed for walking to all the main sites. Yes the room was a bit small and could do with a bit of a refurb but it was clean and we had a fridge and safe in the room. The breakfast was basic but adequate and there's loads of eating at all price points nearby. All the staff we met were very friendly and welcoming especially at breakfast ... a very pleasant stay.
The location of the hotel was great. It was in a nice street which felt very safe (which we appreciated at the time, but even more so after staying in apartments in dodgy areas in other parts of Italy). It is also within walking distance from the main sites - Trevi fountain, the colloseum etc. Wifi was amazing - unlimited and good quality. We had a quad room (2 adults, 2 children). It was just an average size studio hotel room. The bathroom was great, but the room itself was a bit dated. The breakfast was a highlight and allowed us to not worry about finding one more place to eat. The assortment of bread rolls, pastries, cold ham and cheese, cereals and drinks filled us up before a day of sightseeing. I do wish they had bacon though! The only reason for dropping a star off was because we got in at 10.30 am from a 20 hour flight and were absolutely exhausted and although I had requested an early check in, we still had to wait many hours to check in. If they could try to prioritise guests on really long flights and clean those rooms first, that would be greatly appreciated.
