The area this hotel is in does look a little bit dirty to be honest but don't let that put you off...the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff were really helpful. The breakfast is continental but there's enough choice for everyone. The price on this hotel is cheap because it's not quite in the city, but the bus and metro are easy enough to navigate (something I was worried about) and it'll take about 40 minutes to get in, depending on where you want to go. There's also a great restaurant about a 2 minute walk away called la carovana which is lovely and there's another one just up the hill which is also lovely but I can't remember the name of it... go enjoy Rome, it'll be an amazing experience, promise!
Recently stayed here for my trip to Rome. It is a very good hotel, modern, very clean and comfortable. The rooms have air conditioning which is great in a very hot city and staff is friendly and helpful. The only not so good points is the location. It is close to Ciampino airport on the plus side but a bit far from the centre. This would not be a problem if transports were good but unfortunately transports in Rome are rubbish. To go to the centre, you can walk 10 minutes to the nearest tube and then go to the end of the line C. When you get there, this line has no connection with other lines which is insane so you have to walk down a massive street to get the other line. If you think this is bad, try do it via bus, which takes 30 minutes to arrive, and sometimes it does not come at all. Obviously, not the hotel's fault but to stay here, make sure you are happy to do a lot of walking. Apart from this, the breakfast does not have a lot of choices but it is enough. Overall, a positive experience.
We stayed for 3 nights here. The service was ok. A location not very close to the city center, but in a quiet neighborhood. It takes about 30-40 minutes at least to get to Termini Central Station using public transportation. The breakfast was also ok, the pillows were not exactly my type, but not that bad after all. Two different persons from the hotel's desk told me two different versions when I asked about a taxi to Ciampino Airport (regardless of the distance, time and price).
We went to visit Rome and we stayed for a few days in this 4 stars hotel but was more like a 3 stars, in the periferic area of Rome, very minimalistic, in a quiet and settled are. Unfortunately you could hear any noise made on the corridor or above or under our room, not at least a glass in the room, what to expect for a kettle and a tea bag! Breakfast was included but again not to many options, the same thing every morning, very limited! I have been in 3 stars hotel and I felt like 4 stars but this one unfortunately is the opposite! Was clean in the room and friendly staff but not enough for a 4 stars hotel!
We were looking for a hotel that would be close to highway so we wouldn't have to drive around too much in Rome. We visited Amalfi coast but wanted to stay in Rome for one night before flying out. This hotel is clean, has friendly staff, reasonable rates and free parking.
Booked to stay here for my life long ambition of seeing Rome. Hotel is superb and staff an room cannot be faulted in anyway. Everything was carried out with professionalism and courtesy. I would highly recommend this hotel, we had a wonderful four days and would definitely stay here again. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. Breakfast continental and lovely too eat as much as you wanted. Come here for your vacation you will not regret it.
To anyone looking to stay here, if you don't mind a bit of a commute to get into rome, then go for it. A short bus ride and a metro ride will take you straight into Rome. I couldn't fault it, buses are frequent and so is the metro and they run till 11/12pm. The hotel was great, very clean (the maid came everyday) and the bed was HUGE. Use of the safe was free, mini bar available and there was plenty of space in the room. Staff were great, speak amazing English, this was very helpful as we needed help on getting into rome. Breakfast was the only disappointing thing, it was fine but it isn't a 4 star breakfast. There is something for everyone nonetheless. Overall, i couldn't fault the hotel. We knew when we booked it that it was 10km out of Rome, so we knew what to expect. I managed to eat plenty for breakfast and would 100% stay here again.
First thing first, for the many reviews you will have seen making comments about how the hotel is "out in the sticks" or "don't book this hotel if you wish to be close to Rome" I can only say - if you're hotel is advertised as 9.7km from Rome what do you expect!? I thought the commute into Rome was okay. Not what I'm used to but that's due to me not the commute! You may not be familiar with is before you come &, like my girlfriend & I, a little unsure & nervous, but it's simple & the staff at the hotel made it easy to understand! The hotel itself is great! Staff friendly, room more than adequate, breakfast okay (not a 4* but still adequate) Noise from around the hotel was occasionally noticeable but did not give me cause for any complaint! Rome itself is beautiful so I can have no complaints! I'd definitely recommend this hotel, so long as you understand what you're booking!
Having stayed here recently we found the hotel was in fact in the suburbs of Rome meanig there were no restaurants nearby, the one that is relatively close was closed along with the supermarket next door, which meant we were really reliant on this hotel to provide some food, however the hotel had no restaurant and the box room bar was unattended and completely empty and deserted of any staff, snacks & beverages leaving us to believe it had been closed and not used for a very long time other than a place to just sit and watch tv, we eventually managed to muster some concierge after several attempts which brought us crisps and nuts, not what one was expecting for the two of us at a 4 star hotel. There was also no tea or coffee making facilities, no iron available or service to iron my creased shirts, breakfast was very basic and for a 4 star hotel is certainly not what one would expect. On a positive note, the rooms are fresh and tidy but not well soundproofed. Windows open up wide which in my view is quite dangerous especially for families with young children. Site does have plenty of off road parking but reception welcome was quite cold and generally we felt like an inconvenience to them by just being there. The bus ticket office and pick up were quite a distance too so your reliant on taxis, but saying that we would highly recommend Uber for Rome as we recieved a prompt service each and everytime. Overall we can safely say we wont be returning to this 2 star hotel.
We had arranged through the hotel that a chauffeur would be there to pick us up from the airport to take us to the hotel. However we came through customs and waited for 1 hour (calling and emailing the hotel multiple times to no avail) before deciding to get a taxi which cost the same anyway so I would recommend to others to just do that (65 euro at 01:00am) The staff were apologetic there had been a mix up with the bookings and over the course of our stay were very helpful and accomodating. The room was very clean and a good size with good bathroom facilities and a comfy bed. However we were woken up at 6am every morning (cleaning, luggage being moved etc). I would advise to see if you can get a room high up as I think it may be quieter than where we were on the ground floor. Breakfast was mediocre at best with limited options. Location - we found the hotel to be too far out for our travel needs. It took about 1 hour in total, including waiting times, to get to the centre of Rome which included a bus and a train.
