A bus and tram journey into Rome Termini which takes about 1 hour. Avoid rush hours. Hotel basic, no tea making facilities in the room. Very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok, quite a lot of things to choose from but the hot buffet was the same each morning (scrambled egg and bacon). Watch for pick pockets, one of our group had her purse taken from her bag whilst traveling on the bus 558 from the tube station to the hotel. I would choose a hotel closer to Rome next time.
If you are here for seeing Rome. Don’t bother. This is miles away from the centre and the busy Metro is terrible. Only one pizzeria, which is amazing, nearby but that is it. The hotel is perfectly clean and our one night stay was ok. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. A disappointment for me was not tea coffee facilities in the room. A must when you are so far away from everywhere. Staff are super helpful and pleasant though.
Nice clean hotel, however it is a long way out from the centre of Rome. There is no kettle in the room supplied so couldn’t make a hot drink. We arrived late and the only place open was the pizzeria which made a fantastic pizza. Only stayed one night due to changing hotels because of distance to centre.
Just recently stayed at this hotel it was part of a cheap package that included a stay in Rome and Venice. If you are on a similar deal, the reason it is so cheap is because the hotel is way out of the city, having said that there is nothing wrong with the hotel, it is just like staying in a travel lodge or holiday inn. There are no frills, but is a very clean hotel, breakfast is continental however I made cheese on toast each morning which was nice. One HUGE tip I would give, get a taxi too the hotel from the airport as the stress to work out how to get there ruins your first day, it's honestly worth the money. Once at the hotel it is quite easy to work out the travel back into the city (see all the reviews below, these were very helpful for me), however because it is far out its not something that you can keep nipping back to during the day. The supermarket right next door sells everything you would need.
Do not waste your time or holiday here. There is nothing to do in the hotel and no restaurant or bar anywhere near it. The hotel restaurant doesn't even open on Saturday or Sunday so you can't even eat here. Only came here because the rugby package allocated this hotel (even tho it's 22km away from the stadium) and would never consider coming back. How can a 4 star hotel have no facilities at all. No tea/ coffee in the room. The bar opens 18.00-22.00 if you're lucky and no restaurant at the weekend .
It an hour from the city by bus and train. When it out ur out there's no piping back it takes to long taxis are over €50 each way. The are no bars or restaurant anywhere with in walking distance. That's a €20 to €30 taxi each way
Took a bit of finding from the airport. Tip, don't bother getting transfers to the city, get a cab straight to the hotel, its cheaper and a whole lot quicker. Once settled in getting back to the city centre was easy once you've done it once. The reception will get you a bus ticket which is valid on both the bus and the trains, they will tell what bus to get to the train station and from there you are 15 mins from the main train station in the city centre. Buses and trains are very frequent so there is no hanging around for ages. and the tickets cost around 1.5 euros so its cheap enough. The rooms were very clean and comfortable but there are no facilities, i.e. bar or lounge, apart from a dining room which is very limited at meal times. The reception booked a cab for us to get back to the airport and it cost us about 30 Euros and took about 20 mins to get us there.
Not 4* by any stretch of the imagination. No amenities whatsoever. There is a "conference room" which is just a large empty room with rows of chairs in it. The "bar" is a small side room with a small counter and wasn't staffed when we went down. The bed we stayed in was solid. It is around 10-15 min walk from the metro station, with 1 change and approx 45mins travel time from the hotel to the centre of Rome. Happy with the size and cleanliness of the room and our brief interactions with the staff.
Nice clean room. Not 4☆ for facilities probably 2☆. Restaurant menu poor no alternative for veggie or allergenes. Only 2 choice no starter 1 pud choice although other italian guests had choice. Menu in bedroom with good choice on we were told was for room service only when complained about meal we had in restaurant. How would they bring up to rooms as couldnt manage to bring towel up to room had to collect myself. Breakfast very poor cereal for kids only no fruit . Room like prision visiting room. Hotel 6 miles from center so hour travel on bus and underground. Other guest we spoke with was told 5 min from center.!! Definately wont recommend and should no be 4☆ . All round poor😯😯😯
Hotel was adequate, staff very pleasant and helpful. Food not very good ,basic and not varied, the hotel was down in the suburbs miles away from the metro ,you had to take a bus ride to the metro and then a 30 minute train ride so that was an hour and a half traveling both ways which on top of sightseeing was a very tiring day. If we had realised it was that far out we never would have booked it. As for 4* rating I feel it only warranted a 3* .wouldnt stay there again
