comfortable, but very loud noise from cars and heavy machinery in early hours of the morning. convenient public transportation to town and historic sites, the advertised hotel transportation is not reliable very nice restaurant, and impressive breakfast

We had just spent a good portion of the day touring San Marino. After a mishap at the gas pump, we decided to stay. (We put our cash in, then got a message saying the pump was broke. Instead of refunding our money, it gave us a "scontrino" with a 20 Euro credit which we could "use anytime" within 30 days - but the place was closed). We could use the scontrino the following morning on the way out. Booking was easy on Orbitz for $89 for a room with a beach view, free breakfast, free parking and king size bed. We locked it in. Check in was a breeze. They did not have luggage carts, but the elevator has easy access, although it is the only elevator on the property and only fits 6 people at a time. The room was clean with private bath w/shower, but a bit tight, even for just 2 people with bags. It had a small frig to keep meats and cheese for sandwiches on the road. The bed was comfortable enough and had easy access to elecrical outlets on each side, 220v only. The TV was small and only had Italian programming. The room came with an accessable terrace w/ small table and 2 chairs. GREAT VIEW of the beach and Adriatic Sea w/easy access to the beach. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of fresh foods. They had great scrambled eggs and Italian bacon, along with fresh deli meats and cheeses, juices and milk. Lot's of fresh baked goods including croisants. All you can eat. We would recommend this hotel, even though we lost our 20 Euro. The gas station was closed.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. I will gladly stay there again.

We loved our stay here! Would highly recommend.

This hotel is located outside the city, but 10 minutes to Vatican City, hotel will provide shuttle or you can take a bus in the corner. Hotel located in a nice neighborhood the service was good , rooms clean and a good continental breakfast setting. It really a four star hotel!!

softer beds are needed! everything was great except the bed!

As soon as I arrived I was welcome in everyone was smileing. Breakfast was fanstatic. Staff was very helpful and would go out of their way to help you.

We were driving across Italy and the Grand Tiberio was one of the few hotels in Rome with free parking. Red House wine Tiberio is very nice! I enjoyed it so much I bought a bottle. Free shuttle service to two different points near the Vatican. Courteous attentive staff, generous continental breakfast included. Clean and modern rooms. If you like EXTRA firm beds your in luck. I do like a firm mattress but this mattress was like sleeping on concrete. Even though the bed was uncomfortable I would consider staying there again if I was needed place to park the car.

Very good service, clean rooms and breakfast. Free wi-fi and parking Short vacation in March 2014 15 minutes walk to subway

This should be called 3-star at best, not 4-star. Location was inconvenient and hard to find. A/C in the room was not cooling at all, the room was humid hot (it was June), and we could not sleep properly. Staff was rude, didn't seem to care about guests, told us that they would look into the A/C issue next day, but there was nothing done. Also, they don't supply floor fans and do not change rooms (A/C issue seem common for all their rooms) On the first day, they sold us a private tour (Euro 180 for 3) that became a bus full of 30 people and a bad experience as the guide was struggling with English. We decided to move to another hotel for the 3rd night and found "H10 Roma Citta" which turned out to be a very positive experience.

Staff was great. Able to understand English. Pick up from airport in a Mercedes Bens and had soft rock music playing in English. Breakfast buffet was above average. Take the bus to city center. They sell the bus tickets about a half block from the bus stop.

Very comfortable, though a bit tight for 4 people in a room.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is your place. The hotel is in a lovely neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants within a ten minute or less walk of the hotel. The staff were very helpfull, the breakfast not fancy but better than average with a self serve beverage machine that did fine cappacino. Rooms are small and the bathroonm configuration was a challenge. You had to move around the door to get in and out.

Its a very good place to stay while in Rome. The only exception is the breakfast, which does not change at all. It may be a norm in this place. The staff are excellent and very helpful.

Hotel Grand Tiberio was the perfect place to relax after a day walking in Rome. It is located in a very safe neighborhhod. Several restaurants and pizzerias are within walking distance and it is very easy to get to the center by bus 990 who stops almost in front of the hotel. The staff is very good and attentive, especially Umberto that went out of his way to help us with a problem we had and made several calls until it was resolved. Umberto is a real asset to Hotel Grand Tiberio. When in Rome we will definitely comeback to this hotel and will recommend it to friends and family.

If excellent is not enough then perfect for: location, super clean, food preparation , and of course kindness of the personnel working in the hotel , should fill the bill.

We enjoyed staying at this Hotel. Excellent for people that wants to be away from the city's hustle bustle, yet accessible everywhere with public transportation. There is also a Shuttle Service from the Hotel. Staff was very service oriented and very courteous. We liked staying at this hotel so much that we choose to go back upon our return from Venice. Buffet Breakfast was very good, I wish they include hard boiled eggs as well in the future. Hotel has a decent Restaurant for Dinner.

Hotel is in family neighbourhood, clean , middle class area. Only one bus stops in nearby bus stop. Train stops in next street which allows you to change to Metro A allows you to go to TERMINI station in the center of town. and other touristic locations. Hotel has own shuttle . They say you should reserve a day before so we did not use it..Hotel itself is perfect for families. If you donot know the Rome it is better take the minibus services from airport which leaves you at the door of the hotel., Attendants and deskcrew are helpful. One thing is room's lighting is not enough.

front desk staff was very helpful, especially with directions for public transportation...they knew how to get everywhere, perfect for those of use trying to travel on a budget. The hotel is a bit far away but if you do not mind the quick, and painless, trip into town by bus it wonderful. You will not be able to find something as nice in town...it was wonderful

The staff was always available. Room kept beautifully. Tastefully decorated, and minimal noise. The bus took us right in to the sights. Lovely spot to stay in. A great restaurant nearby which we walked to. Not only was the hotel breakfast more than nice, but we also had dinner in and enjoyed it. Lovely garden. Although it was winter we enjoyed going up to the roof terrace to see the view. One person at the front desk was a trainee and gave us bad directions which was a problem, but things like that happen. Another concierge went above and beyond in accommodating us when an issue came up regarding our stay.
