Stayed here for 3 nights, very walkable 10-15 mins walk to the Vatican City or to the main shopping area. 10 min walk to closest metro station. Self check in was extremely easy, and Luisa was lovely and welcoming each time we met her. Free tea and coffee facilities in the room and a minibar in the fridge (at extra cost)- we were able to put own drinks in fridge aswell to keep cool. Room was clean and bed was very comfy! Slept in most days because it was soo comfy lol Air conditioning was great and needed in the Roman summer 😅 Shower was fab aswell! 10/10 would recommend, and would stay again if we visit again!

The property was close walk to all tourist attractions and public transportation. We had Room 4 which included a kitchenette. Very helpful for our 2 week stay. There was a deli grocery store just 5 minute walk from this hotel.

Lucia is great - super friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel is comfortable, the bed was great. Feels like staying at an apartment in an older historic city building. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you but if you want a comfortable and safe place to stay that is in walking distance to major city spots but not right in the tourist area then this is for you. It’s very close to the Vatican City, cute places for breakfast around the hotel. Check out Pops diner. Also close to a bus that takes you right to the center of town and 10 min walk to the metro. We really enjoyed our time.

Great property overall, very well designed, as well as useful products in the bathroom. Staff was very nice and welcoming, check-in/check-out processes very easy. Only downside is that the building is very old and you would have to slam the door to get it to shut and we heard that many times throughout the night very loudly.

This place was amazing! Perfect location (close to the city center but far enough to have a quiet night). Very clean and spacious rooms (the jetted spa was so nice over looking the river). Luxury on the River is located in walking distance to Piazza Del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, and Vatican City. A great location, a super clean facility, friendly staff, and the room was very comfortable and cozy. Luxury on the River is also in walking distance to breakfast places and a Carrefour Express.
