The property was comfortable, well-located, and clean; and the member of the staff we met was friendly and helpful. However, there was something that heavily impacted our experience, which is that there was no hot water in the shower (at least not enough for more than one person). Other than that, the place was ok.

Great place for a short getaway to rome

Our stay was great. We had 4 adults to fit in and Furio Camillo did a great jog. The owner was very polite and helpful (everything from showing us around the property to giving advice on how to protect ourselves from Rome's many pickpockets). All in all, a great deal for your money!

The listing says this place is a 5 minute drive from the Colosseum and other popular attractions. This is not accurate and was quite disappointing to find out we were about a half hour away from these. Fastest route is by car~22 minutes. The room was clean, the host was friendly and helpful. Hard to find parking.

Stayed there a few days. Good convenient location to the Metro. Takes about 15 minutes to get to city center. However, is very basic in terms of facilities for a Bed and Breakfast. There is no front desk, so hard to get anything without contacting the owner by phone. They clean the room only when requested, which again if you are unable to see the owner is difficult to do. There is no kitchen but there is a refrigerator that does not work. Would have been good to provide atleast a small microwave to warm up some food if you have to eat something late at night or early morning when most places are closed. The bathroom shower is very very cramped and the hot water comes in spurts which can be quite uncomfortable on cold mornings. Overall ok, but would not say a very good value for the money.

Good,value

Located near a subway station. The immediate area doesn’t have sights nearby, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. This a real residential area, not near the tourist sights. A good value for the money.

Very Nice Hotel, close to metro station

Very close to metro station, easy to go everywhere in Rome and to the airport. Hotel owner Marian kindly told us details for going to airport in the early morning. The room were big, clean, affordable and very sunny, located in a middle-class community of Rome. We were glad that our stay in Rome merged with the local people's life, instead of staying in a typical hotel.

Easy trip to metro and all tourist areas

Cute room that included limited use of a small kitchen and outside patio that is shared with 1 other set of guests. We were told that there would be no cleaning service, but our trash was taken out and our beds were straightened up. This was a great deal in a local neighborhood, with extremely easy to access the metro. Just remembered to bring soap and shampoo for the shower!

Furio Camillo

This was an absolutely delightful experience. The room was charming, and that bed....!! I could have spent the next month in that bed! I'm pretty sure it had a goose down cover, and while I am not in favor of goose down, I can certainly see why people like it. Our host was charming and informative...thanks for the advice on the pickpockets! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Apartment was nice, can't fault it, it is a shared kitchen. Couple of minutes walk to the metro (subway) then about 10 minutes on metro to get into the centre of Rome, €7 for a 24 hour metro pass! The owner gianluca met us on arrival and explained everything to us and was a very nice and funny guy.

Comfortable, Clean, Accessible

The place was a bit tricky to find at first. However, Marian emailed us ahead of time to suggest how we could reach the place. He specified which train line to take, where to go off. Marian was very accommodating, nice and informative. He gave us several advises like what to avoid, what to do, where to buy and where to eat. Very excellent customer service. He also cleans the room and bathroom really well. We were very comfortablr in our stay. Our room had the external shower and toilet, but it was still ok because we use it privately. A very good place to rest after a whole day of touring around the city.

Charming little hotel

The bed & breakfast was charming. The location was close to the metro that could take you to any of the tourist attractions which was nice but ther wasn't a lot surrounding the actual hotel. No good restaurants or places to spend the evening. We had to metro into the city for a little

Very close to transportation

While not fancy it was very adequate. Large room with good size private bathroom. Air conditioning and wifi in room were excellent. Safe area. Hotel street was between two large streets that had super markets, stores, and cafes that were much cheaper than the tourist areas. Very close to the metro. Walking distance to the Colosseum (it took us 50 minutes), and to San Giovanni basilica. 10 minute walk to the tuscolana train station, which we took to and from the airport. I would stay here again. Marian was very helpful.

disappointed

This accommodation is not a hotel and is one of a number of places we stayed at on holiday advertising through Hotels.com that are not hotels. The person running the "hotel" rents it and lets out rooms. We were told we could not use the kitchen to make meals because it was a private area and although it is called bbfuriocamillo (bed and breakfast) I can't see why as I felt very uneasy with the regimental way that rules were laid out upon arrival. Again I dont think this accommodation should be allowed to advertise itself on your site as a hotel/bb. The room was also small and we were given the key to a very cramped shower/toilet across the public corridor.

Worth to stay at Furio Camillo!

The room and the kitchen were very clean, the owner (a romanian immigrant) is very kind. It's near by the metro station, so you can reach the monuments in fifteen-twenty minutes.Great huge balcony with plants, you can eat your breakfast there..Good neighbourhood, shops are close, and it's not noisy.
