Great stay

Wonderful stay. Hotel was quiet and clean. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the connecting rooms for our larger family of 5. The Prati area east of the Vatican was convenient and walkable to most sights. (we stayed for early morning tickets to Vatican and it was less than a 10 minute walk). Hotel was very accommodating. Loved the extra tall front door!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it's important to know what to expect, as the property wasn’t what I had anticipated from the photos alone. The property was difficult to find, but a local helped us. Look for building 297 with an intercom to be buzzed in. It’s on the 4th floor, accessible by a small lift, but not wheelchair-friendly, with some steps throughout. The team managing the property is small, so there’s no 24/7 reception. You'll need to inform them of your arrival time for check-in. The layout is peculiar, with about six rooms on one floor, and the front desk doubles as the kitchen area. My mum and I had separate rooms, but she got stuck in her bathroom on the first night due to a faulty sliding door. Since the manager wasn’t available, I had to follow his instructions over the phone to find a spare key, which was unbelievably stressful. The location is a major advantage, being just 10 minutes from the Vatican and close to bus stops. We paid for breakfast and, though limited, it was very good with deli meats, pastries, and excellent coffee made by the staff. However, my room, located behind reception, was noisy and had signs of water damage, a damp smell, and dusty curtains. Despite this, the room was visibly clean, with a useful mini fridge. The property was affordable, but management was extremely disorganised. Whilst the staff worked hard, I was disappointed by several aspects. I’m unlikely to stay here again or recommend it.

Found the room dated and poorly maintained unfortunately. Our shower did not work nor did the AC. Staff was very friendly however would not recommend staying here due to the upkeep of the room. Location was great and the restaurant scene amazing.

Staff was wonderful!!! In addition, the breakfast was personalized which was very nice! The room could have used a bit of extra touches that would have made the stay even more enjoyable (like offering a shower chair or holder for soap & hair items, a hook for towels, & even Kleenex or eye makeup wipes). Unfortunately, the hotel had slight plumbing issues and was under some construction above our room so it was noisy at times. The area of Rome was very convenient. There was a good bit of construction around the area. Overall, a delightful stay and we would choose again for staff and convenience!

Stayed here for a few nights in the Spring while traveling in Rome. Had an enjoyable stay overall. The staff did tell us at check-in that they’d be moving us around after our first night into another room, which I wasn’t thrilled about, but the process was smooth, and the room we ended up in was more spacious, so overall, it worked out fine. The breakfast that was included was nice — nothing special, but still much appreciated. Staff were always friendly, courteous, and helpful.

The worst experience I have ever had in an hotel. They charged 2 nights while I stayed only 1 night. They always came up with lies that Expedia never contacted them. My recommendation. Stay away from them not to lose your money.
