This is a comfortable hotel in the San Lorenzo area that's very handy for the CNR national headquarters and the Sapienza University. The rooms are quiet and the breakfast excellent. We needed to be at Tiburtina station early so the staff booked us a taxi so we arrived easily on time. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Five friends stayed here for 3 nights late September early October. This place was excellent, perfect for our needs. We received a warm welcome and the gentleman on reception helped us with directions, best places to eat and drink etc. Rooms were clean, comfortable and practical. Shower was excellent really powerful. Breakfast filled the gap with a good selection of pastry's, fruit, cereal etc. Best bit about this hotel is it's location, close to loads of cheap but good bars and restaurants. Only about 15 to 20 minutes walk to Termini for the Metro, trains etc.
This hotel was better than I expected. It's pretty close to the train station and plenty of restaurants. I think it's a great value for the money. It was nice and quiet in our very clean rooms. The bathrooms have been modernized nicely, have good water pressure and plenty of hot water. :)
This hotel is a 12 to 15 minute walk from Termini Station where you can access more or less all of Rome from. The hotel is in an area that looks a little run down but it's not rough and is surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants with a good going out scene at night. The hotel looked good on arrival, our room was on the 4th floor so was nice and quiet. The shower room was well appointed the shower was good. The room itself was average size but the dustiest room I ever encountered in a hotel, it couldn't have been hoovered for weeks! The breakfast room is nice and there was a good selection of sweet things with some fruit and bread and three choices of coffee but none of them great. The woman serving the breakfast teas and coffees was so friendly and an asset to the place. Although not perfect, I would recommend this hotel although the room was too dusty for me but we liked the area and its proximity to the station as we used it for arriving and departing!
Very nice city hotel with everything you need for a couple nights stay. Descent breakfast, quite small but still very tasty! Small but comfortable rooms, nice beds and quiet environment. The staff was extremely polite and helpful with everything including transportation to airport at night! Thank you very much!
The staff is attentive and very pleasing to speak to. They will gladly share general information about areas, sights and the best ways to get from A to B. Since (i assume) one of their premium rooms was unbooked during our visit they let us have it instead of the economy room that we were initially expecting. This was a very nice suprise and with it came a wide rooftop-balcony towards the square, facing the belltower of the church. As a result we barely left the hotel. One night we stayed up late and watched the perseid-meteor shower from the balcony. Despite being in the middle of rome the stars were quite visible and we saw a lot of shooting stars. Breakfast was very good, also the restaurants in the vicinity offered good italian food for low prices (without pesky service-fees)
I stayed at this hotel with my partner , my mum and my brother for our last 2 nights in Rome. What an amazing hotel. I was not to sure about this hotel when i booked it but it was amazing. I would recommend anyone to this hotel. Bathrooms have newly renovated. Hotel rooms are clean and nice. Only down fall their is no bar fridge. Air Con worked really well. The breakfast was amazing !!! More then i expected :) Staff were helpful and very kind and understanding. Couldn't ask for anymore :) amazing hotel :)
When we checked in we were treated like family arriving. Helpful staff very helpful all shifts the whole six days we were there. Minor glitch with reservation corrected immediately with patience and respect. Rooms clean, neat, and breakfast was great. A/C Issues on the first day, again - immediately corrected. Computer and printer in the lobby handy for city tour and airline boarding pass printing. Student district everything close. Saved us some money by helping with Airport transportation.
A lovely hotel, nice clean rooms and a very good breakfast. Staff have all been very friendly and helpful. Free (very good) wifi, and tea and coffee also available from bar area. Air conditioning works well but bit noisy at night when it cuts in and your trying to sleep, but that's only downside. Rooms cleaned daily, and all toiletries provided including tooth brush and razor! Highly recommend.
I booked here for a conference in May. On the first afternoon, the room was warm, about 75, and I asked about a/c. The desk manager told me it was not switched on yet. He said I could open the window and be sure to turn off the heat. As others have noticed, this is a noisy area. Two days later, it reached 27 C/ 80 F in Rome and my room that afternoon was 25.4 C / 78 F. No a/c and it couldn't be turned on. He offered me a "terrace room" that was 26 C / 79 F. The terrace was a lively square. (Photos of both thermostats included.) Saturday morning, when I did not have work, I woke up very early (and warm) because of the open window and no a/c. I booked this hotel because in part it listed air conditioning. I think they should refund me part or all of the cost for false advertising. Do not stay here.
