We had a lovely stay at Fauno Urban. It was quiet, green garden with pool and lovely staff. Valentina and her team were so welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. We loved having a spritz in the garden and breakfast on the terrace. It was a convenient 10 minute walk to the colosseum and we appreciated being in a less touristy location. Would definitely recommend!

Perfetto per me! I will see you again!

I had the absolute BEST stay at Fauno Urbano. As a solo female traveler coming to Rome in the max heat of summer and tourist season I felt I needed an oasis with a pool! Not so easy to find, but this gem of a property gave me everything I needed for the perfect vacation and was at a totally reasonable price point for me. The room was spacious and well appointed. The property was so lush and quiet, with only lovely mellow cafe jazz playing by the pool. And trust me, after a morning of heat and throngs of tourists, it is like coming home to heaven. Beyond the property itself, I was treated like a real friend by Rafael, the lovely man running things on the days I stayed. It’s because of people like him that I love traveling solo. He was open and helpful, curious and personable. He needs a raise! He anticipated when I would like cocktails by the pool and anyone who has ever employed people knows how difficult a good employee is to come by. Also, every day when I returned from my sightseeing days my room was made up so thoughtfully. I’m not sure the lovely lady’s name, but grazie mille for making me feel cared for. If you read other reviews of this beautiful, unique spot and they offer complaints, you can disregard those and just use mine as the correct assessment. The other amazing thing was there were no children, whether by design or just luck. It made for a tranquil, perfect oasis in a chaotic city. GRAZIE PER TUTTO, FAUNO URBANO!

Amazing urban resort in the heart of Rome

This hotel experience was one of the best we've had in this first trip to Italy. We were talking among ourselves and we won't hesitate to come back here the next time we return to Rome. The moment we entered the hotel, it felt like we were transported to a villa resort, surrounded by trees, flowers, and statues. The room was comfortable and thoughtful'y equipped. The staffs were all so amazing, friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel as we checkout early for a morning visit. When we come back, we were welcome to sit in their lounging/ dining area while waiting to the time of our departure. The location is unbeatable. Less than 5 minutes away from the metro, surrounded by multiple bus lines that take you anywhere around the city of eternity. And if you're in a mood for a scenic walk, the hotel is located less than 15 minutes away from Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. We especially adore the view of Circo Massimo and Terme di Massenio (on Palatine Hill) from the street of the hotel. Overall, highly recommend this hotel to all. It feels very nice to come back to this serene hotel after a long day in a city as busy as Rome.

Our stay for 4 nights at the beginning of our trip to Italy was excellent. The location is just off the beaten trail enough to feel very private and the property was very quiet. You are minutes away from Circus Maximus, the Colosseum, forum, Palatine Hills and Baths of Caracalla. We stayed in room 0, which was itself separated a little bit from the other rooms and so extra quiet which we greatly appreciated after long days of walking. Desk staff were knowledgable and helpful. Breakfast every morning was a generous and diverse continental. Sit outside and smell the wisterias while the doves coo. The rooms were comfortable, with big comfy bed and rain-shower heads. We slept very well. Thank you to the staff that made our stay great: Valentina, Rafael, and Ronald.

We were VERY happy with pur stay. Raphael greeted us with Proseco and explained to us alot about Rome since it was pur first time. The location is EXCELLENT. 15min walk to the Coleseum. Lots of resteraunts around within walking distance. The staff was kind and extremely accomodating.

This place was great because it was walking distance to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Caracalla. Even then if you truly want, all the other historical sites are walkable, if you’re willing to take the time to walk. The only unfortunate thing is the mold and rust in the bathroom. Other than that, the place is convenient and the staff were kind and helpful.
