Taxi cab driver had a hard time finding the hotel. It was in a remote area. The staff was very sweet.

THE LOCATION IS ABOUT 1 MILE TO THE COLISSEUM BUT JUST 2 BLOCKS AWAY FROM THE SUBWAY. THE ROOMS ARE VERY CONFORMTABLE AND STAFF IS VERY NICE. THE ONLY BAD THING IS THE INTERNET, VERY POOR CONNECTION SPEED.

Nothing really special about it! I would not recommended.

Steps from the metro and a quick walk to the coliseum. Rooms are small but it's rome and that's expected. Excellent staff.

The hotel location was so so, relatively close to the Colosseum. The hotel was nothing special, tiny room, uncomfortable "mattress" (more like a torture device...). Would not recommend given the price.

Perfect location. Close to attraction and shopping.

Overall our stay was pleasant. It's centrally located and about a ten minute walk to the colosseum, roman forum, and the national museum. Also, about 5 minute walk to Metro/subway station. Beware, the add says that continental breakfast is included but it isn't. It's 10 euros per person. The staff is very helpful. My first impression of the room was that it was very clean until I noticed that there was a blood stain on the outside of the toilette. I thought I would give the cleaning staff an opportunity to clean it up, but after two days I took it upon myself to clean it up. Good price for what you get.

We had a good experience. The staff was very helpful. The hotel advertised that breakfast was included. I later discovered that it was not. Also, I thought the hotel was pretty clean until I noticed that the outside of the toillet had a blood stain on our first day. I was hoping that it would be cleaned off. After two days of waiting for the cleaning staff to clean it up, I took it upon myself and cleaned it myself. All in all it was good. Walking distance to the metro and colosseum.

Simple hotel. VERY small rooms, but fine since we were booked with city & attraction tours. Fine for sleeping (& afternoon naps!). Location is a touch of a walk from "the stuff", but we liked that. Quiet & didn't mind walking off pasta, pizza & wine! Local cafe & restaurant for cofee & meal (twice) was good & prices managable. Staff was helpful & let us borrow converter for charging phones/ipad.Super close to tube for travel to airport/train stations. Save $ on cab & take the tube! Not tough with map & planning. We even hauled suit cases to & from. Not bad at all.

staff was friendly and helpful. most spoke English well enough to understand what we needed for instructions to get around the city. Mitra was absolutely wonderfully helpful! rooms were nice, very clean. only problem was we got charged for some minibar items which we never opened.

I was greeted warmly at the reception and the receptionist gave my a useful map to use around the city. The room was very average and the bath tub was without a curtain. This meant that I had to dry the floor after taking a shower so I did not slip. Also the walls were very thin so I could hear the school children playing at school in the afternoon and early mornings. This hotel was one step above Ibis chain. Overall, this hotel could have been worse but it wasn't. It's perfect if you are looking for a decent place to stay that is very close to the metro.

It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. Very good location, excellent breakfast and in special friendly staff. I want to remark that Roberta, at front desk helped us with everything needed. Highly recommended. We'll come again.

I was excited to stay here based on so many positive reviews. My girlfriend and I had been backpacking in Italy for a few weeks and we were excited to stay at a nicer place for a night. When we arrived, the woman working the desk saw our backpacks and the fact the we are in our mid 20s and gave us some holier-than-thou 'tude. After a few snarky remarks to our fairly simple questions, we were checked in and headed to our room. Upon arrival to our room, the fridge and the TV were both not working. I went back down to the desk and the woman said that she would have someone look at the TV, but it was too late and they could not fix the fridge. No offer to move rooms... 30 minutes later, I saw a hotel staff walking toward our room, so I asked "are you the one coming to fix our TV?" He said "No, I didn't hear anything about a broken TV, but I'll come take a look." after fiddling with some shoddy wiring for 20 mins, the TV was working again - he was apologetic and seemed like a good dude. This is dragging on, so I will speed it up. Our food that needed to be kept cold went bad, we could not turn the heater down so it was almost 80 degrees F in our room, and we slept on a worse bed than at places that were half the price. This place is overrated. Slapping technology on a building and calling it a 4 star hotel does not work. Disappointed

Good location just 20 minute walk from the Coliseum. Staff was very helpful with good recommendations for restaurants. Also very helpful with instructions for the underground train and bus system. Enjoyed our stay.

its pretty close to ancient Rome but theres almost no restaurant close by. you have to walk all the way to city center. Rooms are average for Europe (be warned the doubles are actually twins pushed together). Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. Id choose somewhere in city center next time to cut down the walking.

This was my first trip to Europe and it was everything I had hoped for! Upon arrival at the Eurostar Saint John, we were greeted by a gentleman I believe his name was Assamo. He was the head of the front desk and soooo helpful with getting my friend and I situated in our room. He also helped us daily with organizing tours around Rome and suggested delicious restaurants in the area. He went above and beyond accommodating us! My trip through [...],was AWESOME AND AMAZING! I can't wait to book my next vacation! Thanks to everyone!

The hotel was nice, overall. The majority of the receptionists were warm, welcoming and helpful. [...]lists that this hotel has a restaurant and an airport shuttle; however, this hotel does not have either. The beds are extremely firm and uncomfortable. The shower never stayed a consistent temperature; it randomly went from warm to hot to cold to warm to cold to hot, etc. On a good note, the hotel is close to the train station, the Colosseum, and several restaurants.

Clean and attractive from the outside, to the left when you walk in is a classy front desk which is where we were greeted by the concierge [...],he was friendly and helpful (thank you for the directions) The rooms were a fair size for a european hotel, very clean modern style, stand up shower and satellite tv. The breakfast was great, excellent cappuccino, fresh eggs, cheeses, and fruit. The staff was extremely helpful, and friendly. They were more than happy to give us directions, suggestions and make reservations for us. It was just a few blocks from the coliseum, in fact we never used public transportation in the city, we were able to walk from the hotel to the Vatican. In short great hotel great location can't wait to go back!

We stayed at this hotel after a cruise trip. Staffs at front desk were very nice & helpful in calling shuttle to the airport and early check-in. Near Metro station and on a quiet street. Breakfast starts at 7:30 AM but we had to leave at 7:00 AM. Room was a little small but that is fine with us.
