So So Stay
Okay but...Biggest issue was absolutely no covering on the window. Had to drape a blanket over it at night. Slightly noisy outside and inside from other tenants. Never was able to turn the tv on but didn't really need it. The heater was at the far end of the apartment from the bed so had to turn it up high to warm the bed area. Very tight shower cubicle.

The main negative thing about this property was significant noise pollution. Our windows were across from what can be described as a night club and for the whole three nights we were there, people were outside the place until about 3 am being loud. The windows do not insulate well. This significantly impacted the quality of sleep and rest you really need if you’re staying busy the whole day sight seeing
THE absolute worst place ever in our life to rent. Horrible owners. Owner actually got in my face shook his finger. Arrived to Rome after 12 hours of traveling in a heatwave and we arrived a few hours early. No where to put our luggage, and they couldn't accommodate us arriving early That's ok. I understand. They told us to go down the street to a place that will hold our luggage for 50 euros! We waited the 2 hours and and we were happy we booked an apartment with A/C. HAHA..what a joke. They claim it has a/c (which is one of those wall units ONLY in the back bedroom) constitutes as a/c. They had a small 2' oscillating fan in the middle of the living room which looked like it was about to fall apart. The pull out sofa in the living room was disgusting! Had stains all over. We didn't even want to sit on it. Then the best part! Went to use the bathroom as we had a tour to go on in 1 hour and the bathroom was flooded. Water was pouring out the bathroom sink. This place was nothing like described. We called the owner and she said she will send someone over. Her dad arrived and said "you know how hard it is to get a plumber on a Friday night". We asked to be relocated, or refunded and the denied both requests. Said it will be fixed. We couldn't get cleaned up for our tour and we missed it. Expedia was no help to refund us saying it was non-refundable. BUT THIS PLACE WAS A DUMP with a NON WORKING (only) BATHROOM. The owner was yelling at me and my husband. We felt threatened. F-

Outstanding location. Great terrace and classic fixtures/elements in the accommodation. Our only complaint was the AC unit in the main bedroom was loud and clunky. Everything else was perfect. Strongly recommended for a home base to see many different areas in Rome.
The shower was leaking often and hard to use but other than that, the stay was very pleasurable. The apartment was beautiful and so was the area.

Don't expect the balcony you see in photos!
This apartment was in a great location, but pretty noisy. While the bedding and bathrooms were clean, the kitchen area and table were sticky with dirty utensils and potholders. I cleaned the kitchen before using it. We were expecting a balcony based on the photos, but this apartment only had one window.

This apartment is tough to review because whether you love it totally depends on your priorities. Let's start with the good stuff:
The location. Oh my god, the location! Less than 1 minute from a major bus/taxi stop than runs most lines every few minutes.
Walk in the opposite direction for a couple minutes and you are standing in front of the Pantheon in a piazza full of shops and restaurants. (Don't sleep on Gelateria Della Palma & All'Antico Vinaio!) You can walk to the Colosseum in less than a half hour, and it's a walk full of piazzas and churches and restaurants.
There is a decent grocery store across the way too. That was good because the included free toiletries consisted of a half empty, upside down bottle of store brand body wash. You can imagine how not minor that is when it's 11pm the night you arrive and you have jet lag and go to take a shower and there's no shampoo. (We later found a couple of tiny plastic packets of conditioner the host seems to have borrowed from another establishment, but no shampoo or soap and certainly no extras like q tips or toothpaste.)
You will feel like a local staying here, which we loved, but the apartment is dingy. If you're squeamish, it's going to bother you. There's both a minor buildup of ancient dirt and a little bit of recent scuzz.
The local caretaker Mr. Alberto is lovely and helpful and prompt.
I would probably check out other options in the neighborhood if I returned, but in the end, I would stay here again.
Great location. On the weekend it was a little noisy in the middle of the night. The window does not prevent street noise from entering the apartment. Late night partiers were very loud at times.
Absolutely great place otherwise.

Weekend romano
Imposible dormir.
