Very helpful landlady and the property couldn't be in a better location - 10 minutes walk to the Vatican City and lots of cafes and shops nearby. The room was spotless and it was handy having a small fridge and a mini-kitchen in the room.

My stay at Caroline Rooms was spectacular! Caroline met us upon our arrival and helped us with our bags and check in, giving us directions to nearby tourist attractions and restaurant recommendations. The building was easy to find and felt very safe and secure. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay. the en-suite room was spacious, modern, very clean, quiet and a joy to come back to after a hard day of sight seeing. beds were very comfortable! Most of all, caroline was soooo!!!!!!!!!!!! nice and went out of her way to help in any way she could with any tourist problems encountered!

Location is reasonable...not elegant, not shabby. Ameniteis are so so, no front desk, it requires 3 keys to get to the room. Elevator 2 person max. However Caroline and her jusband are very nice people.

A spacious, clean and comfortable apartment room in a traditional Rome apartment block. Had everything we needed and was far enough outside the tourist area to be peaceful but close enough so that we could walk to all of the sights. Although there is no permanently staffed reception, Caroline, the owner, is really helpful and is easily accessible should anything happen. We as a family had two double rooms and both were of an equally good standard. Our stay was really smooth and Caroline's advice was really useful in making our trip to Rome memorable.

First time in Rome, couldn't be happier!

Our stay in Rome at Caroline's rooms was fantastic. Not only was the room in perfect condition, well fitted and located in an excellent building, but Caroline was incredibly organised and helpful. Any questions regarding transport or local knowledge were quickly and thoroughly answered, either in person or via WhatsApp. She provided details of multiple local restaurants with different specialities, we went to every one and they were all excellent. Caroline helped us organise tour passes and tickets for local tourist locations, and provided advice on where to go and when. We stayed 6 nights and each morning the room was cleaned, towels and consumables changed and everything looked after - aside from the morning we slept in and left the do-not-disturb on the door, in which case we were left well alone in peace to rest our heads! Overall, our whole trip was made better by the service and accommodation provided by Caroline, we will recommend her Rooms to friends and hopefully visit again in the future! 11/10!!

I can’t say enough about Caroline Rooms. It is located in a private building which makes you feel like a local. The location is walking distance to the Vatican. Caroline was so very nice and helpful. We went to all the restaurants she recommended and loved them. Great place to stay!!

My stay at Caroline Rooms was amazing. Rooms were pretty good sized, but everything from the bathroom to the room was clean. Caroline herself is the one that maintains these rooms during your stay. It's a good area for visiting around Rome, only thing is that it is closer to the Vatican compared to some of the well-known tourist areas like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, but it's still doable to visit those areas via the nearby subway stations. Amenities were more than good. There is a mini-fridge so that you can store any items you want to be cold. Shampoo, soap, and towels were provided. You will have to buy your own toothpaste if you didn't bring any. There's a market not too far from the hotel where you can get toothpaste. Caroline was incredibly helpful! She gave really good tips in regards to visiting Rome and the areas not to visit at night, along with places she recommended to eat. If you're looking to visit Rome and the Vatican, this is a place I would recommend staying at.

Memorable stay....

The hotel is situated 15-20mnt walking distance from the main attractions in Rome. The tube station is 2mnts away for longer destinations. The Rooms are amazing, clean, well designed and modern. The owners, are adorable and very helpful. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wishes to have a very nice and memorable stay in Rome. Note: I suggest you try the recommended restaurants that Carolina (the owner) advises... They were very nice as well.

Caroline and her husband were fantastic. She made great suggestions for how to get around and some good restaurants. She always provided answers to any questions I had during the trip and even booked a reservation for us at a restaurant we wanted to try. The rooms were very nice with modem amenities and the location is within walking distance of almost everything. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Rome.

Eugenio and Caroline are fantastic hosts. Even though we stayed there only a night, they went out of their way to make sure our short stay was pleasant. They were very warm, very informative on how to get around, we even got to know some well kept secret Roman treasures. Eugenio was extremely gracious to help us with his parking and save us some money on our parking fee. The rooms were decently sized, well kept with a nice bathroom. They also had complimentary tea in the room. The location of the apartments is excellent, very close to the Vatican and Trastevere. I would highly recommend staying with them for anyone looking to stay closer to Vatican.
