Wood flooring was nice, however lots of things broken that were not fixed. Bathroom door would not close properly, giant hole in the wall that they just stuffed a towel in. Room was none smoking but smelled of smoke.

Didn’t have towels every single evening I came in from working all day. Floors were nasty, bed didn’t get made. The front desk was pretty helpful but besides that and oh yeah the showers and pretty much. The bathroom was disgusting I will not be coming back to this one or never another red roof in. Not worth the money even though it’s very affordable but not what was displayed so good job staff👍

When we arrived and got in the roim we noticed headboard was off the wall and there was not even 1 towek.had ti go to front desk they brought 2 towels whi knows where frim one corner qas a little damo they qere not folded like simebody just got thwm out of laundry pule.not very happy.bathroom and the room were ckean but sheets on the bed were wrinkled toi as if rhey were not replaced at least they looked like were not replaced

Booked through Orbitz, paid in full, they couldn't find that we paid, asked to pay second time, later on they found that we paid, but second day they asked to pay extra $$ for what??? Be careful with this place.

it was ok. Bed was to hard and the pillows needed to be replace with new ones. the frig was dirty.

This hotel was easy to get to from I 95. It smelt fresh and clean. There was plenty to eat for breakfast. We went there prepared to pay $70 but the nice lady gave it to us for $58. I would stay there again, no doubt.

This hotel was a total waste of money not only was the room bad but the service was terrible. They even wanted to give me mouth for using a online site because they couldn't figure out how to sign me in! Also the pool was not flowing through a filter and had trash in it. Housekeeping(not the manager) offered to move us to a room with a refrigerator (as it said online) but the room smelled terrible like mold.

I stayed here last year and it was ok, so I booked again at a special rate thru [...]($50). Well, as I said, you get what you pay for. There was no alarm clock, or any kind of clock; the sleep timer on the tv didn't work, nor was there an alarm on the tv. And they have HBO for free, but the channel wouldn't come in. Also the toilet was running pretty much all night. The shampoo is awful and miniscule. However, the biggest problem was a protruding nail in the carpet right in front of the bathroom door. I had to lay a towel down so it wouldn't pierce my foot. On the upside, the bathroom and bed were very clean and the breakfast buffet was good. Probably won't go there again.

We were in the area for a graduation from East Carolina University. We have family in Wilson and Goldsboro, so it was a nice mid-point. We booked a suite which had separate rooms: loveseat/desk and chairs/kitchennette upon entry; short hallway; bathroom; bedroom area at the rear. Mirrored closet w/plenty of storage. The space and layout was very good. Breakfast bar was adequate. No coffee maker in suite. Two issues encountered: task lighting was insufficient; stuck my finger on a diabetic's lancet left behind on the loveseat. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience. Shopping and restaurants close by: Best Buy, Target, Cracker Barrell (next door), Olive Garden, fast food.

[...] When I arrived at the hotel, i was unable to check in b/c my wife had paid with her credit card. Even though my name was on the reservation...i had to wait for an hour until she arrived. Also we made the reservation for a King room they tried to give us two doubles...i will never book here again.

Everything about the hotel was great except for the customer service. Once of the clerks had and extremely nasty attitude after she failed to accurately explain the mix up that they had on their behalf. In fact, the lady even cursed at my wife and I in the process. We are frequent travelers and customer service goes a long way with us. Without that clerk, I would strongly recommend this hotel. But due to the clerk, we cannot recommend this hotel.

I stayed here in May of 2010. The room was very comfortable and the staff was more than accomodating. The breakfast was fresh, filling. This time the room was run down, the staff looked like they were hired day help off the street corners. There was hardly any toilet paper on the roll and when I looked for the new roll, there wasn't any. When the room was made up the next morning, the fresh towels were left in a pile on the sink, the blankets were just pulled up on the bed and the pillows just tossed on the bed. The breakfast looked like the same food that was sitting out when I was there back in May. It was horrid. I will never stay at another Jamesons again. This is definite proof that you get what you pay for. Although, I feel like I was robbed.

I needed a hotel room for a one night stay while traveling from NY to FL. The room was clean and the price affordable for a single night. The location was perfect for me as it was less than 1/2 a mile from I-95S that I was traveling on. I was comfortable during my stay. My only complaint is that there was no shampoo in the shower, just the bar of soap! Otherwise, this hotel provided exactly what I needed.

descent no frills but clean
