Holiday Inn Express hotels have a certain set of values: they are usually without frills, almost Spartan in nature; breakfast was basic;but the room was large and the place immaculate. This is a new facility and the staff reflected an eagerness to be helpful under all circumstances. Rock Springs is in the middle of no-where and yet the place was fully booked,We were there to visit Dinosaur National Monument, an intriguing place if you like to be aware of where you stand in the march of history.
We stayed here for a over night stop on our way threw town. It was a great place to stop. The room was nice , clean and quiet! The kids enjoyed the pool but I wish they would vent the room to help with the chemical smell. The free breakfast was great . It was well stocked the entire time and had many choices for everyone.
I have to admit that I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in years, if not decades. This is a really nice hotel - the chain has really kicked up their game. Check-in was a breeze. The room, a suite with a fully separated sitting area, is spacious and very clean. The location for this property is right off I-80, but far enough away for no road noise. Breakfast was pretty good - a lot of pre-fab stuff, but the kids liked it. The coffee was good.
Very clean, friendly service. Easy access to route 80. Pet friendly. Stayed here with our dog while driving to Salt Lake City. Plenty of restaurants nearby. There is a weight room, pool and exercise room.
The hotel was really nice and the staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was blissfully quiet. The room was quit, clean, and comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool and hot tub were really nice and the area was clean. This was the first time I went on a trip without my husband. He called the hotel and asked them to take me hot chocolate since he always brings me some when he gets coffee. The desk clerk was nice enough to fulfill his request. This was the best customer service ever. Thanks to the staff for making my trip less lonely.
The twin room is spacious, clean and quiet. All staffmembers are polite and helpful especially the breakfaststaff. Breakfast acceptable and better quality than many other hotels. Wheatbread, boiled eggs, different yoghurt varieties, müslis, fresh fruit and oatmeal.
I stayed here for one night on my way to Yellowstone. Upon entering I was warmly greeted by Johnny ( Johnnie ), who instantly felt like a new friend. My reservation went smoothly, the room was spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast is typical and fills the belly. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I like to stay at this brand of hotel because of the fitness centers and the free breakfasts. The breakfast was great here, and it was good for vegetarians as well as nonvegetarians. They even had egg white veggie omelets! The food tasted good. It would be even better if they had soymilk for the lactose intolerant, and if they used paper plates instead of styrofoam. There was a fitness room and a separate weight room. The fitness room had a mid-quality Precor treadmill, a lower-quality BH eliptical trainer and a lower-quality recumbent bike, but everything worked. The room was cool and there was a fan on a stand, towels, and a scale. No stretching mats. They had wet wipes to wipe down the machines, and the wipes were actually wet. The weight room had a weight machine. We actually got a king suite and it had two separate rooms with a door between them, a living room and a bedroom. Very nice arrangement if one person has insomnia or has to get up early to work.
Hotel staff were all very welcoming and room was clean and neat. I stay at a lot of hotels and this one exceeded expectations. I can't comment on a lot of amenities but the internet was good for me. I will be back in the future.
If you have stayed in one HIE, you get the concept and they all pretty much blend together in my mind. This hotel struck me as brand new and very clean. I was impressed with the room in that sense. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet.
