The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming when we checked in. They were very knowledgeable of the area. They provided us additional towels when needed. All of the staff that we communicated with at the front counter were very pleasant and friendly. We will stay with this property again when we visit Carrowinds.

Visually the room looked clean, however the room smelled damp and moldy. There wasn’t a hairdryer in my room but the staff made it their priority to get one for me. Staff on all shifts were nice and helpful.

Stains on blankets, mildew smell in the rooms, walls have water damage, stains on ceilings and walls. Hallway carpet and stairs seems hasn’t been vacuumed for weeks and extremely worn out. Mattresses are so bad when you lay on them the springs are poking up your body. The front desk clerk with hat and street clothes, zero professionalism, sitting in the corner on his phone. You would need a strong stomach to handle the so called breakfast. Parking lot decent but watch out for broken bottles and interesting people hanging around. Towels were clean but they were worn out.

While the room seemed clean, the hotel is outdated, no elevator, nasty carpet, the room had a very strange odor. Pool is only open after 3;00. Only 2 towels, wash clothes etc in bathroom. Drink machine out of order. The place needs a complete overhaul!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and without any problems. Breakfast was very good and had a good variety of items. Fairly good all around and fair price with a few maintenance cosmetic issues on property but room was clean and bathroom / shower was looking upgraded and clean as well. Parking was sometimes difficult because the slots are small and there were large pickup trucks that were taking up two spaces.
