This is the second time that I have to deal with a girl named Jay at the front desk. Her attitude is very hostile. To keep it simple she is not in the right place. As an hotel concierge you should be hospitable, welcoming and it is all about customer service. I give her a zero. Because of her, although I like the hotel, I will not stay at that location ever again. Someone needs to talk to her and explain her job to her once again.

Arrived at 3:15, Difficulty at check in. Assigned and entered occupied room. Was told another would be cleaned and be available in about 30 minutes which I considered reasonable. After checking with staff several times, we got in our room at 4:45. Bill as incorrect at check out. Chatted on line for hrs before verbally talking with someone who corrected the issue promptly, which I appreciated. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

Thin walls, noisy guests

The hotel was well located. Breakfast was quite good. The employees were nice. But it was very loud. I haven’t been in a hotel with such loud and rude guests in a very long time. I stayed three nights and every night people were noisy. The walls seemed very thin. The people in the room next to me seemed to come in late each night and stayed up talking loudly until 4 AM every night until they turned on their TV to music to sleep to, I assume, which was noisy and could be heard through the walls. I used white noise to try to drown it out but it was still loud. Others on the floor slammed doors and were making all sorts of other noise. As I said, I haven’t heard so much noise in a hotel in a long time. Sad to say I wouldn’t stay here again. It was clean and well located but I barely slept over three nights.

The gym was small but had the right equipment, the games in the lobby kept my kids busy, but an older crowd does tend to stay here. Just be aware you will get phone calls/noise complaints about your children running in the room around 8/9pm - that was not pleasant as it was a vacation for my kids where I expected they would have more freedom to be kids and play. But on the bright side the kids loved the breakfast options and the 24/7 coffee was a hit for me!

No hot water

The room was pretty basic lacked wardrobes and security safe. The main problem was the hot water. It had mind of its own, worked at time other times it was stone cold!! We complained to reception, and they said it there was problem with the boiler and could not help. The manager could not be located and made note to refund proportion of the cost. Still waiting.

The room was clean and spacious. My wife and I are in our seventies. We were actually shocked to find only one chair in the room, a desk chair at a small desk. The room could easily handle a couple of regular chairs of a couch and yet one of us only had a bed as an option. This is outrageous! Additionally, for the first time in my travels, I was unable to connect to the internet. After multiple attempts, and with no seats, I simply spent my last evening ever in thie Tru by Hilton which is untrue to travelers.
