Interiors are very dirty, bedsheets were not clean, mattress quality bad, bathrooms need major uplift, and everything looks dirty. The sole saving grace is the location. I recommend to look for other places to stay

After reading several reviews here, and knowing this property is at Av. Atlantica, or literally across the street from Copacabana Beach, I was really excited. Unfortunately m expectations fell really short as I arrived at the lobby. The hotel is dated and the staff could have been a bit more friendlier on check-in. They asked us to fill one form for each guest, gave us 2 keys and briefly told us about the WiFi password and breakfast time. As we arrived at our floor and later entered our room, we were definitely not impressed - and we were given an ocean view unit. Don't take me wrong - it wasn't terrible. We could see Copacabana beach from our window and that was great, but I wouldn't give this hotel more than 3 stars. The room looked clean and was organized, but the walls were dirty and stained. The bathroom also had stains that look moldy at the top of the shower and in multiple other corners. Also, after we turned the shower lights off, it would continue blinking all night long. They put us on the 1st floor and it was really noisy. WiFi was slow and would sometimes disconnect, but was usable. Breakfast was included and food at the restaurant was OK. Again, not great. The juices were very watered, for instance. To summarize, if you go there expecting a 3-star hotel, you will be fine. But if you go like us expecting an "Excellent" hotel as rated here, you will end up disappointed.

I hate to say bad things but this Hotel is horrible. The beds looked like they were 10 years old. The wall outlet had wires showing. The closet door didn’t move. Elevator to 7th floor button broken in 1 elevator. Maid knocks at 8am and won’t come back later. TV had no channels clear picture and not Smart. Breakfast Buffet was great. Pool on roof no towels and very small. They tried to charge me twice for taxes. I showed them tax was paid already in hotels.com it was not cheap either but well located.

Its a shame a nice right across of copacabana beach hotel is not well kept… its a beautiful property that is not well maintained. Hotel common areas, and rooms were not cleaned and stuff broken ex: elevator rails. Staff not the most friendly except the bell boys, night shift always on the phone, poor customer service! No blankets in rooms etc.

O quarto estava infestado de mofo por todo o lado, o cheiro estava pésimo, o teto do banheiro tinha bolor para todo lado. Além disso, o box do banheiro estava inundando e precisei descer até a recepção para que alguém fosse desentupir. O funcionário chamado Moacir que ajudava com as malas, foi extremamente grosso, pois enquanto eu estava pedindo para pegar as minhas malas, ele estava na rua conversando com os hóspedes que já haviam saído do hotel. Isso porque eu já estava com o meu táxi aguardando do lado de fora. Ele mandou eu aguardar e gritou bom dia de uma forma grotesca isso vindo da calçada. Extremamente fútil.
