We were staying in Connersville for 4 days. Recommendations of places to stay were scsre, but the Woodbridge Inn seemed the best possibility. The building is old, granted; some attempts have been made to upgrade it, but more are needed. It was very clean, however, which is the main thing. And we felt very safe here. The hotel was very quiet. Our room, with two queens, was spacious. The bathroom was very small, but adequate. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The staff, from Amanda the manager, to the housekeeping staff, we're all very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful; I cannot praise them enough, and their service was such a level that we will stay here again when we return to Connersville. The rooms were cleaned by noon -- a rarity in hotels these days, and one I appreciated. Breakfast was on the skimpy side: choice of 3 cold cereals or a couple of instant hot cereals, donuts, orange juice, coffee or tea. One day both the milk for the cereal and the Orange juice were half frozen. On Sunday there was a "make your own waffle" machine, producing good waffles, but it did not appear on weekdays. There is free wifi, but it flickered on and off.

Our disappointment began at check in when we were told that our adjoining rooms** were, in fact, not adjoining, and weren’t even near each other. When asked why, the girl at the desk said that the person in the room adjoining ours had decided to extend her stay. I do believe that the proper procedure would have been to tell her the room was not available, rather than the way it was handled. Upon entering the room, we noticed that the air conditioning seemed to be set to “freezing” with no other options. The bathroom area had one bath towel, two rather thin smaller towels and one hand towel. For four people. Speaking of small, the bars of soap were little more than slivers, and became very softened almost immediately upon use. My husband asked for more towels, and when we returned later they had been delivered, but they were the thin, smaller ones, not bath towels. While bringing our luggage in, my husband was talking to a family member in the hallway and accidentally went to the wrong room - which he opened with our key! He told the front desk and they just told him not to do that (seriously). The shower worked, with plenty of hot water, but it did drain slowly. Upon rising the next morning, we noticed that everything had a damp feeling - even the dry towels! Breakfast was okay - no more than two people could be in the area where the waffle maker, cereal, and milk and orange juice were though. The coffee was out in the lobby area which had four or five tables. We had to ask frequently for a refill of coffee to be brought out. It appeared that the front desk person was also the breakfast attendant. **We had several siblings also staying here, two of which also requested adjoining rooms. Oddly enough, none of us got what we had reserved. We will not stay here again, and I will not recommend it to my friends and family either.

The good, the staff was friendly and the Inn was clean. The bad, this place is in serious need of an update. The varnish on the headboard of the bead was sticky. There were cigarette burns all over the furniture, carpet and bathtub. The mini fridge was rusting and the carpet was sticky (ick). The TV was still one of the tube based ones (so, half of the picture was missing). We were expecting a coffee pot and were disappointed. There is no elevator and the ice machine is on the lower floor. We both have physical impairments and got booked for an upper floor room and we could not change, this made for a less enjoyable stay. I made a point to tell the booking site to have a lower level room and that didn't happen. Now, I remember the reason we have put off visiting these family members for so long. The only reason I'm giving it an average rating is because the staff was friendly and they made a serious effort to keep the place clean.

The hotel is quite mixed. I have stayed in big name chain hotels that were in worse shape, and I had minimal expectations pulling up to this hotel. The room was surprisingly clean and smelled fresh. The hallways, however, smelled horribly of smoke and something gross. The staff was friendly and quick to help Yes, you have to open the door with a manual key, but I never knew that was such a problem. Coffee was available all day which was nice. I did not look at or partake of the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I would advise to bring your own toiletries. Oh, and bring your own pillow also. I have never slept on pillows so flat. Water pressure was great but very loud. My water never really got as hot as I would like on the second floor but some friends on the first floor said theirs was fine. This is a quaint little hotel that I would consider again, but I would rather go to Richmond nearby for a nicer place with more amenities. (There is no elevator which is a pain to get luggage upstairs with baby in tow).

You use legit keys to access your room. Downside...there is no elevator to get to second floor (pack your suitcase lightly if you can). The room was somewhat dirty. There weren’t a lot of shampoo, soaps, etc available. It was rather rough but enough to make do.

We stayed here 2 nights. The place was clean and staff very nice. The AC was up high to the point of being too cold in lobby and we even turned it off in our room. They still use keys which shows the age, but the water pressure was gushing, cable TV just fine and beds were comfortable. The ice machine died while we were there but there was a Conoco right across the street with ice. Hotel is non-smoking, but they have a "smoking area" with chairs outside the front door. Free breakfast was minimal (recommend Stacks a couple blocks south).

This hotel was off the beaten path from where we were going, but every other place along the interstate was booked solid so we traveled to Connersville. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and well maintained. Room smelled a little musty when we first came in. The beds were comfortable. No frills, but overall a good place to stay.

A decent place to stay for the price. The hotel appeared to be a newer building. The room was clean and, other than the pillows, comfortable. In our room (115) the bathroom fan was very noisy. You can't book a room online unless you go through a third party and we were told at the desk it's best to just call. The wi-fi was hit or miss. The biggest complaint is what they call breakfast. They do just enough to say they have breakfast and no more. Waffles, three kinds of cereal, and a couple of hard-boiled eggs was about it the first morning. The next day there wasn't even coffee made and we went a block over to Burger King. If you're just looking for a clean room to sleep in, the price is decent and this might be a decent choice. Just plan on booking through trip advisor or your favorite site, and plan on going elsewhere for breakfast.

Where to start, smells and looks like 1970. Sandpaper like towels, no iron in the room. You get an actual physical key, really? Can I do negative 10. Burn this hotel to the ground. Only one person at the desk, slow service. Knowing Connersville is not a destination take a little pride unless you want to cater to Walmart crowd then you win.

The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again. We were on the second floor. No elevator. There weren't many steps, but tough for my husband and I. I didn't think to ask for a Handicap Room, so that was my fault. Staff was very kind and helpful. We didn't have their breakfast, so unsure about that.
