Very nice hotel, the step is great, but where the hotel is it's a little busy or could get congested very easily. Love contractor stay at this hotel in between working on jobs or working jobs in the area. But it's a nice hotel
The rooms were clean, however, seems like these hotels all have extra hard beds? Can we please get something that isn't like sleeping on a rock?
Very noisy guests constantly jumping around above my room (217) from check in at 7:30pm until I finally called front desk by 10pm.

It was great- clean, efficient. Perfect for a quick stay. Close to restaurants and stores. Easy check in, WiFi and super clean atmosphere.

I was curious about the breakfast here since there were a couple reviews specifically mentioning it, but it really was awesome! The room was very clean and comfortable. Check-in was quick. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
We were extremely pleased with the spacious room, quietness in the motel, and close location to shopping, restaurants, and other amenities such as putt putt golf. The train which ran quite a number of times on the Friday night we were there woke us a few times, but was fine on the Saturday evening. We will stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites again! Keith Bradford

There for 2 nights Poor condition never got our room cleaned when we asked about making up our room no one seemed to care
Staff was horribly rude and failed to tell me that the hotel was no smoking then charged my credit card 250 dollars for smoking in my room then canceled out my other reservation without a refund and was rude when they had called me to tell me that my future reservation had been canceled

Hotel was welcoming. It was clean very attractive. The staff was friendly and coffee was available before 6 am inbreakfast area, which is a nice large area with tv and newspaper handy.
I have stayed at this Hampton Inn many times while I visited relatives and carried out research in Richmond. I return because it is the best hotel in town. It has an excellent (and complimentary) breakfast with many choices of hot and cold foods. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Cleaning staff is very attentive, as is the reception staff. The rooms are quiet since hotel is located some distance (about a block) from main roads and have black-out curtains to control lights from outside.
