Holiday Inn Express Richmond Downtown

Recent guest reviews

Friendly, efficient staff and a good, inexpensive location for our brief stay in Richmond.

We got in late and had to switch hotels at the last minute. We bought on Otbitz but when we got there she said it was all sold out. After careful looking the front desk got us a room. She was amazing! The hotel was awesome! We had to walk a little bit to get to downtown Richmond but had fun in the short time we were there. It was best prices at the last minute. Thanks to Judy!!!!

Good food. Nice people. Liked the security. They paid for a taxi to get us to the conventio n

Overall, good visit. Staff was friendly. Only complaints were the walls were either very thin or the person in the next room was extremely loud. I had to listen to what she was watching on tv all night then the next morning she was on the phone at 6:30am and I got to experience that whole conversation. The breakfast was ok.

Was awakened at 4:00 am by people talking in the next room. Called the front desk four times over an hour before anyone answered the phone. Lousy night's rest

Nice mid-range hotel in downtown Richmond. Short walk from VCU, state capitol and other must see attractions.

It is a nice hotel and not too far from the race track. Location isn't great. Downtown with not a lot around.

Perfect central location. Nice helpful staff and clean rooms.

It was satisfactory for an overnight stay. I was disappointed with the $10.00 charge for parking given the location and this is not a resort hotel. Breakfast was adequate.

The hotel was a great value and close to all the places I needed to get to. Low ceiling in the parking garage.

There is no hot items and variety needs to improve.

It was close to many things and clean. Staff was great and enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was great and will defiantly be staying with Holiday Inn Express Downtown Richmond again.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, Holiday Inn Express is the place. It offers FREE breakfast.

The only better than average rating in this review was the location. Everything else was average or less.

I enjoyed myself. The room was very comfy. The jacuzzi was very nice. It fit both me and my wife both comfortably.

I was mistakenly booked into a smoking room. The staff quickly changed my room for me. The location is not very good. No restaurants nearby. The air conditioner was very cold and when I turned it off it was too warm in the room. Hotel is on the old side.

UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS. STAFF WAS NOT HELPFUL. NOISE FROM HALLWAY AND ADJOINING ROOMS WAS DISTURBING.

The building needs some TLC. There were no working Ice machines except on the thrid floor. The room was clean, but the outdated. the middle cutains had stains on them. The neighborhood could a bit scary at time, but over all not bad. The staff was curtious but not friendly.

This Hotel fit the bill for what I needed in convenience. It was in walking distance of the building I was visiting and provided a comfortable place to stay overnight.

This hotel was pretty nice. All of the staff was very friendly and even called me once I got settled into my room to make sure everything was okay. I would definitely stay here again.
